After the Bell Tower, the Burned Tower! The second one of a 5 Johto covers series!
I worked on it at the same time I did Bell Tower. I wanted both to have a same type of sound while keeping their own respective feels.
Much like the first one, the Burned Tower kinda went pretty straight-forward. I just wasn't sure which kind of riff I would put in one or two parts of the piece and I ended up going for some off-beat stuff which does a fine work to me. Hope you enjoy this!!

Wow this is so very different from your usual style! Very refreshing change of pace to say the least. The first few seconds already had me convinced. After riding for a longer period of time on more action packed covers, I personally find great beauty and satisfaction in slowing things down and let the notes, the melodies and the chords take the front stage a bit more; contrary to the action packed, always on edge, and very epic aspects. Would be awesome for sure to see more of this, I would definitely be a sucker for that!! Maybe you could eventually even combine this style and your usual one to have a "complete" package; as I like to think of it, with an overall super large dynamic range, as well as full spectrum from calm to agitated sections :) Really enjoyed this one for sure!

And for your last point, I'm not sure if this is exactly what you could except from it but a new piece with a slow intro and more aggressive range will come quite soon (I hope, working on it 👀). :)
