Thanks so much for posting this video. I am a 63 year old woman who is not very handy with cars, and was able to replace the low beam bulbs on my 2014 Ford Focus Titanium with your help. The Ford owners manual did not have enough detail for me to figure out how to detach the electrical connection or how to actually remove the old bulb. You took me through it step by step. I know I saved a lot of money in labor I would have paid for my Ford dealer's service department to do this.
Thank you so much! I have absolutely no experience with fixing things myself. After being told $80-$100 because the whole bumper would need to come off and it would be a hour worth of labor. I replaced my light bulb for $16 within 10 minutes!
Thank you for this video. It's by far the most useful one I've seen. The weird method to replace the assembly was good too. Managed to do mine with no real issues other than stubborn bulb connectors on the dipped beam bulbs. Cheers buddy.
Helpful in trying to remove full assembly. I had great difficult removing the connector. Ended up having to prise it off slowly using a large flat head screwdriver. Thanks for the video.👍
Thanks for the video. It helped me fix my daughter's headlight and look like I knew what I was doing. Turned out the bulb was good, but just not connected properly. I switched them between headlights and suddenly both headlights were working.
Just changed mine n struggled to get it back on properly. Can tell its the tab on botton not lining up right, just tightened it anyway as carpark got abit busy n my face got abit red 🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks for the help. I like my Focus, but like many cars, it has a lot of plastic parts. Nice to see how far I can bend some tab locks without damaging them. 👍
Do you have a video on replacing the connector? The wires on mine frayed, so if I just replace the bulb, it'll get burnt out again because the connector is shorting
@@FalconsGarage thanks! I ended up getting a connector free from a shop when I bought the new bulbs. The wires were different colors from the originals, but we got it figured out in the end. 😁👍
I’m driving a focus mk3 from the UK in Germany and was wondering if I can manually adjust my halogen headlights from right hand traffic to left hand? I plan on getting it TUVd.
My car Ford Focus 2012 se problem Is dipped bulb fault code and driver side light not work but I stop the car of the car and turn on again and light work
Right off the bat lost respect for you when you use the screwdriver when you have all those tools behind you instead of a torx the screwdriver is for somebody who doesn't have any tools, I guess none of those tools behind you are yours

Thanks man! Nobody else explained how to operate the clip tab and I was getting pretty frustrated as well as afraid I would break it. All fixed!

no, but just buy the connector from a junk yard and just match up the colors on the cables

i tried unhinging the connector with a screwdriver like you said and the tab broke off instantly. what do i do?
get a usecd one from junk yard and replace it

I am guessing he was using the screwdriver as it is a basic tool everyone should have at home.
