I think Leo and Kate are just friends . Kate might have more than an attraction to Leo but they’re able to be close friends while being married or in relationships with others. DD/GA aren’t like that way. They’re not just friends . They only got close again after both were separated. When they’re with other people they’re unable to be close . That’s my opinion.

Wow. They have such beautiful chemistry and it seemed so genuine, but part of me wonders now if it was a ruse and they played a game with the fans? You'd think you couldn't fake that kind of thing, but they are actors? They knew what fans wanted and they gave it to us, flirtation, interaction, energy and suddenly, it is all gone and there isn't even much contact in public between them anymore. That's not me assuming there isn't any private contact because we don't know and it's not our business. I wonder if they just did what they had to do to keep us interested? Especially when you read the articles featuring Gillian nowadays where she says the opposite of all she used to say. Instead of saying her and David had grown into a once in a lifetime friendship, she says instead that she doesn't know David, that she'd get questions wrong about him if asked and her tone seems so dismissive of him. I was such a huge fan and I was swept along by their chemistry as well as such a great show, but there's that nagging feeling in me now that they just played us all along. However it truly was they'll always be a beautiful screen pairing and that on screen chemistry and connection will remain some of the best. There's no judgement here on my part because they must make their own choices and if they decide they are done with "TXF" or that they are finished with the David/Gillian phase of their lives that's up to them. I just doubt that what we saw ever existed in any kind of real way. Here is what she said in 2018 after wrapping the show. ‘I actually don’t know very much about David,’ Gillian admits, when we meet in Los Angeles. ‘And it’s a funny thing,’ she adds, thoughtfully. ‘We’ve spent so much time with each other over the years that I’ve probably been together with him more than in any other relationship I’ve had. i kinda feel the same. but i think that there are some certain moments,, the comic con, or paley event,, that,, you can clearly see something very real between them, something that cant be fake. I think that the difference betwen times with promotions around and now,, is the public comments and stuff, but i feel that they maybe stay in contact anyway,, and i am sure they love each other,, (even though i dont know if it is as friends,, or whatever). But they have a special bond,, and, there were moments without promotions or so much social net activity where they were in contact.. so... i don´t know what happened but,, they love or loved each other. anyways,, i'll ship them forever hahahah

No one is THAT good of an actor/actress. It's most likely that, at least for Gillian, she downplayed their mutual attraction perhaps for the sake of her husband; but their VERY REAL chemistry wasn't faked--it couldn't be--in order for TXF to have been SO successful. It's that REAL 'thing' between them that always kept it so interesting and believable. Theirs was the best kind of romance-unsullied by gratuitous sexual involvement. A higher plane of love and respect (the characters, not the actors)
You can see how they feel about each other. The camera doesn't lie. The only question I have is this: What does Ms. Anderson mean when she admits there may be more than an attraction? Love to see them together. Their glances and shared secrets over the years add to their mystic.
