I've rewatch mlp and I've been obsessed over it, and I already have a lot of animations planned for it sooooo I not really sure how well this will go with my audience with a shift of content, but I hope u guys enjoy it.

I like to think that whenever pinkie sings in friendship is witchcraft that they purposefully make the music lower or go away when pinkie isn’t singing or her mouth is covered bc she makes the instrumentals come from her voice too

I just realized Pinkie messes up and admits she brought her parents back because she says "the song i sing to my parents" before correcting herself and saying "the song they sang to me" even though the song isn't something they could've possibly sung to her as a child because the incident hadn't happened yet....that's such a cool detail i'm just now realizing.
Also as everyone else is saying the design work and animation in this goes very hard it's excellent and frolloshy is very funny XD.
It's also because her parents came back as babies.
i love this design of pinkie so much. the romani influence combined with her bakery stuff and fluffy hair and skirt makes it beautiful while still feeling like her

This is so amazing, oh my hod!!! I was hit with a wave of nostalgia. Eight year old me used to imagine a little music video in my head when i listened to this, so seeing such a beautiful and smooth animation a decade later is unreal to me. Thank you so much for your hard work, videos like this remind me of why I love art so damn much, and how my childhood wouldn’t have been so amazing without talented creators like you ❤️
Also the way you drew young pinkie looking at her home burning to ashes was so great. I genuinely felt her pain :’) I don’t think anyone’s ever captured how bad it really must have been for her like you did.

But imo the best part of this was the tilting of the crystal ball and the hand frames, that must’ve been crazy to draw and get correctly

@@tastyeyes7 Frollo was a joke in the old Friendship is Witchcraft redub series, lol. FIW doesn't hold up super well and the creators have since apologized for some of the content and terminology they used that they didn't know was offensive at the time, but the songs still go hard.

I actually got into fandom just in February, and this song was one of the first i found. It made me realise just how great this fandom was and still is.
In her "fandom autopsy" video, Jenny Nicholson said this song became popular just because of it having "upbeat character voices singing about dark things", but i think she was selling G Bard short. It has better rhyme and tempo than 70% of immature internet music artists and it gives Pinkie a unique and dark, yet not overly edgy backstory! It really makes me wish Jenny would continue to keep writing songs, but oh well.
And i'm so glad that i'm not the only one listening to this song so many years after it was made.
