谢谢妮妮的分享。你的经历我其实是感同身受的。我本身就是理工学院毕业以后工作了2年多，后来发现职业生涯开始有了约束而且如你所说的，理工学院所学的知识还是比较有限。于是，我就决定去国大继续念书来开拓视野和发掘更多可以接触的工作领域。坦白说，工作了再去求学，其实一开始是有些艰辛，毕竟有一段时间没碰书本了哈哈哈，所以需要加倍努力迎头赶上。如今毕业了，虽然比同年龄的朋友们进度慢了些 （同年龄的朋友已经是经理/高层级别的人物又或是结婚生子了），可是我觉得一切的努力都是值得的。不要被众人所设定的人生目标捆绑着，人生是自己的，就按照自己所设下的目标以自己的时间、脚步和方式前进。祝贺妮妮新年快乐，也希望妮妮继续加油 :)

你我的故事刚好颠倒一点点；我去外国留学时候是插班生 （直接跳到 graduating year)。我觉得你选择工业设计就绝对选对了，因为其中学到的 creative thinking + design methodology 对你将来踏入社会有很大的帮助。即使将来事业不完全接触到工业设计，还是大有帮助。 加油加油加油！

27岁读大学不算迟。新加坡男的要当兵2年 -2.5年， A-level毕业的PSC政府奖学金得主(Scholars) 到'非英语' 国家（日本，德，法，... ）留学，还要读一年外语（日/法/德），所以比外国同学至少大 3 - 4年。好处是大龄学生比其他同学成熟，敢和教授交流；坏处是三年＂失学＂忘了许多高中课本知识， 但很快＂追＂回这些知识。有心不怕迟。加油 💪

给Up主一个建议：建筑系虽然很花精力，建筑设计是一个高度满足感的行业，在这个行业出类拔萃的，比如贝聿铭或Frank Lloyd Wright，甚至可以留名青史。室内设计也就糊口的工具。我很鼓励我自己的小孩去念建筑。

谢谢分享。同Singapore Poly的校友，感同身受poly的经历。因为各种gap所以也26才毕业。周围同学都17-21(滚英国读书了），走了很多弯路也很久没碰书本，读起来还是很吃力的。不过每个人都有自己的步伐，无需跟他人比什么。年纪也让我在找工作时体现一些优势。都是即将毕业的互勉吧
是的，我也刚觉到了其实年纪可能是我的优势，思想会比同学们更成熟一些，看事情的角度也会不一样，反而重回学习时不会给自己太大压力，因为认识到学习不完全是为了成绩，这样一想，学习就变得轻松快乐了。☺️
@@ninijiang 绝大部分读的书都没啥用，而学习本身才是应该学习的技能。真正该学习的都应该是毕业后才学的，毕竟活到老学到老。学校仅仅只是个选拔环境，以及训练如何终身学习的场所。跟同事聊天的话题很多也不是学校学出来的，所以嘛，如若热爱学习与自我提升，那是一辈子的事业
