bud quick question. I recently used peel and stick base cap that was layed on its side. I couldn't get the plastic backing to come off for the life of me. Ended up having to use the non peel and stick stuff. Are these peel and stick rolls I got worthless now?. I wished they had a big warning sign on them as to what will happen if layed on its side.
My roofer in miami told me that started shingles arent required in miami. Roofing cement has to be used on the rake and eave of the roof. Was that accurate?

Interesting, I’ve never had that happen. Probably just a super old roll. Still not worthless, I would probably use them in valleys.

Not sure, I’m a Southern California roofer, Florida is a totally story. I always recommend referring to manufacturer specs and recommendations
