Obviously all the years of counseling has not helped one bit. Acknowledging is one thing, doing something about it is extremely difficult. Jeff's one talented designer, but that's all. He has MAJOR issues with relationships in all aspects of his life. I don't think he'll ever change.
When someone has a problem with every person in their life, it’s easy to see that the others aren’t the problem. It’s YOU! I truly hope Jeff gets the help he deserves. He really does need it, and I hope he is able to figure out what is the root of the issue, so that he can be an effective and nurturing parent to his daughter.

Yes have watched every show and agree with Jeff's frustrations about former employees. Each one should have been let go. Jenni was no angel. I've been watching Flipping Out since its first season on Bravo. I'm sincerely sad that Jeff has lost so many of his most significant relationships ... his grandmother, Ryan, Gage, Jenni, Zoila, Vanina etc. I'm very glad that he's in therapy on a continual basis. Otherwise, Iveould say he's due for a breakdown. I think it might be good for him to consider an extended, voluntary inpatient stay at a treatment center. I say that with the utmost respect.

Jeff , I lost my mother at age 13 to cancer. I was next to her when she passed. It was so hard for me to let go but the pain still remained and the anger as to why she died. I hated God for doing this to me. My whole life was dealing with anger and pushing the people I love aside and many times I stopped talking to them. I would embrace anger because I thought by doing that no one would hurt me. So I would hurt people. I seeked therapy too and it helped. Well not completely. I can relate what you are going through Jeff. Im sarcastic too I raise my voice just like you. So many thinks we have in common. I have a boyfriend that has been by my side for 12 years and someone that loves and supports me. He walks away when he knows I’m pissed because he knows I’m going to be rude and saying things to hurt him. Oh, he is 11 years younger than me. Age doesn’t matter ! I know he loves you Why has he been with you for so many years ? Because he knows you are hurting and wants to nourish you. By nourishing I mean , be there for you in good times and bad times. Don’t let him go. He is right for you. But at the end it’s your decision. Hope you guys can work things out. Love.

Gage had zero personality, at least from what I could see on the show. It seemed as if he was just going along for the ride. He sold his soul hanging with Jeff for so long on that gravy train. I hope he has the talent and skill to work on his own but, I don't feel sorry for either of them. I thought they were both vapid and cruel towards people in their lives, espcecially the help.
You're right they actually kind of did treat the staff and other people this way both of them, Jeff to a greater extent. It's sad when they have reality TV and the reality it's not very nice. The worst part is they picked a baby to grow up with that dysfunction and that a surrogate birthed a baby just for that situation.

I think you are being a little tough on Gage. So what if he didn't escalate the situation by saying something to stop Jeff when Jeff was doing his usual anger management thing...I have been with guys who are alpha and sometimes it's better and easier to talk to them later, when they are calmed down and work on them that way. Sometimes, frankly, you just have to protect yourself and any kids you have. The only time I saw Gage smile or laugh is when he knew Jeff was joking and good-naturally (hopefully) kidding his staff. Jeff likes to be in charge, and just because you didn't see Gage say something (although he did, to others, on camera), doesn't mean there weren't discussions off-camera. I don't feel sorry for Jeff, but I do for Gage. He thought he could make it work with a difficult guy but it was just too hard...yes, maybe Gage did stay for the money (we all gotta survive) and later, for the child. It's not a good situation, and not a surprise with Gage leaving. I've said this before...I hope Bravo does not renew "Flipping Out"...it's just a mess how it ended up.

This really made me so sad I was rooting for them to make it. Gage is such a lovely man he is the opposite of Jeff in every way possible & he helped ground & balance him out. As cliche as it sounds Gage made Jeff a nicer person. When they had Monroe the first 6 months were tough for them.Jeff hadn't anticipated the disruption & hard work that comes with a new born. Gage stepped up & took on the majority of the child care. Once Monroe turned 18-24 months Jeff became more engaged but for Gage it was too little too late. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are if you're the one doing more physically, emotionally or financially resentment sets in super fast then it festers & grows even quicker. If one of you is consumed with work & the other holds everything in & doesn't communicate how they're feeling or thinking it becomes impossible & toxic. I hope with a little time, distance & work on themselves they can come back together happier & stronger as a couple. I wish Gage had took over temporary custody of Monroe with Jeff having regular access & over nights of course, because if Jeff was honest with himself he hasn't the time or the emotions to take care of Monroe himself it will be a nanny when she could of had more one on one time with Gage at a very confusing time in her life. I don't imagine that all of the fighting, commotion & upheaval with Jenny last year helped their situation. The business that Jeff runs dealing with risks involving millions of dollars every day is a great deal of stress alone. And they don't call January the break up month for nothing! When your relationship isn't in a great place during the festivities the slightest thing about your other half annoys year. Last year wasn't a good year for them all round but maybe this time next year things will be all change in a positive way. Try & remain amicable though guys for Monroe if nothing else. You are right...but I don't agree that Gage and Jeff should get back together. Gage is a great guy and was very good for Jeff, but hasn't Gage suffered enough? I think so, and I hope you are right that Gage gets primary custody and Jeff can have "regular access & over nights" (all of which with a nanny there, of course)...but I'm afraid that Jeff's ego won't let the best interests of the child to prevail. Hopefully, they can convince Jeff that "to free him up to run his business", to do the arrangement you indicated.
The thing that frustrates me the most is that if this was “a long time coming”- why have a baby???!!!!!!! They should’ve figured out their relationship before pursuing the child route, since there’s no rush. It could have easily been put off. People who split up within 2 years of having a child- clearly these were very unstable relationships before there was a child.

But I’ve known Gage’s in my life and they absolutely torture you in a silent, meticulous way until you’re so miserable and alone and then they make their final move and leave. Yes have watched every show and agree with Jeff's frustrations about former employees. Each one should have been let go. Jenni was no angel. She even stated she was embarrassed to continue working for Jeff rather than be an actress. In the past remember she used some of Jeff's clients for personal favors. It was past Jenni's time to move on.

I've been watching Flipping Out since its first season on Bravo. I'm sincerely sad that Jeff has lost so many of his most significant relationships ... his grandmother, Ryan, Gage, Jenni, Zoila, Vanina etc. I'm very glad that he's in therapy on a continual basis. Otherwise, Iveould say he's due for a breakdown. I think it might be good for him to consider an extended, voluntary inpatient stay at a treatment center. I say that with the utmost respect.

Jeff , I lost my mother at age 13 to cancer. I was next to her when she passed. It was so hard for me to let go but the pain still remained and the anger as to why she died. I hated God for doing this to me. My whole life was dealing with anger and pushing the people I love aside and many times I stopped talking to them. I would embrace anger because I thought by doing that no one would hurt me. So I would hurt people. I seeked therapy too and it helped. Well not completely. I can relate what you are going through Jeff. Im sarcastic too I raise my voice just like you. So many thinks we have in common. I have a boyfriend that has been by my side for 12 years and someone that loves and supports me. He walks away when he knows I’m pissed because he knows I’m going to be rude and saying things to hurt him. Oh, he is 11 years younger than me. Age doesn’t matter ! I know he loves you Why has he been with you for so many years ? Because he knows you are hurting and wants to nourish you. By nourishing I mean , be there for you in good times and bad times. Don’t let him go. He is right for you. But at the end it’s your decision. Hope you guys can work things out. Love.

Gage had zero personality, at least from what I could see on the show. It seemed as if he was just going along for the ride. He sold his soul hanging with Jeff for so long on that gravy train. I hope he has the talent and skill to work on his own but, I don't feel sorry for either of them. I thought they were both vapid and cruel towards people in their lives, espcecially the help.
You're right they actually kind of did treat the staff and other people this way both of them, Jeff to a greater extent. It's sad when they have reality TV and the reality it's not very nice. The worst part is they picked a baby to grow up with that dysfunction and that a surrogate birthed a baby just for that situation.

I think you are being a little tough on Gage. So what if he didn't escalate the situation by saying something to stop Jeff when Jeff was doing his usual anger management thing...I have been with guys who are alpha and sometimes it's better and easier to talk to them later, when they are calmed down and work on them that way. Sometimes, frankly, you just have to protect yourself and any kids you have. The only time I saw Gage smile or laugh is when he knew Jeff was joking and good-naturally (hopefully) kidding his staff. Jeff likes to be in charge, and just because you didn't see Gage say something (although he did, to others, on camera), doesn't mean there weren't discussions off-camera. I don't feel sorry for Jeff, but I do for Gage. He thought he could make it work with a difficult guy but it was just too hard...yes, maybe Gage did stay for the money (we all gotta survive) and later, for the child. It's not a good situation, and not a surprise with Gage leaving. I've said this before...I hope Bravo does not renew "Flipping Out"...it's just a mess how it ended up.

This really made me so sad I was rooting for them to make it. Gage is such a lovely man he is the opposite of Jeff in every way possible & he helped ground & balance him out. As cliche as it sounds Gage made Jeff a nicer person. When they had Monroe the first 6 months were tough for them.Jeff hadn't anticipated the disruption & hard work that comes with a new born. Gage stepped up & took on the majority of the child care. Once Monroe turned 18-24 months Jeff became more engaged but for Gage it was too little too late. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are if you're the one doing more physically, emotionally or financially resentment sets in super fast then it festers & grows even quicker. If one of you is consumed with work & the other holds everything in & doesn't communicate how they're feeling or thinking it becomes impossible & toxic. I hope with a little time, distance & work on themselves they can come back together happier & stronger as a couple. I wish Gage had took over temporary custody of Monroe with Jeff having regular access & over nights of course, because if Jeff was honest with himself he hasn't the time or the emotions to take care of Monroe himself it will be a nanny when she could of had more one on one time with Gage at a very confusing time in her life. I don't imagine that all of the fighting, commotion & upheaval with Jenny last year helped their situation. The business that Jeff runs dealing with risks involving millions of dollars every day is a great deal of stress alone. And they don't call January the break up month for nothing! When your relationship isn't in a great place during the festivities the slightest thing about your other half annoys year. Last year wasn't a good year for them all round but maybe this time next year things will be all change in a positive way. Try & remain amicable though guys for Monroe if nothing else. You had 8 fantastic years together & one not so great but given your lifestyles I'd say that's pretty good going. Sending love to you all at a trying time 😘😘😘

You are right...but I don't agree that Gage and Jeff should get back together. Gage is a great guy and was very good for Jeff, but hasn't Gage suffered enough? I think so, and I hope you are right that Gage gets primary custody and Jeff can have "regular access & over nights" (all of which with a nanny there, of course)...but I'm afraid that Jeff's ego won't let the best interests of the child to prevail. Hopefully, they can convince Jeff that "to free him up to run his business", to do the arrangement you indicated.

The thing that frustrates me the most is that if this was “a long time coming”- why have a baby???!!!!!!! They should’ve figured out their relationship before pursuing the child route, since there’s no rush. It could have easily been put off. Jeff knows good and well that Gage did more for Monroe than he ever did! It was as if Gage was the nanny that allowed Jeff to be a successful as he is especially with a baby in tow. Now that Gage is gone Jeff will really have to be a daddy to Monroe and take over where Gage left off.
Gage was a wonderful laid back person. Jeff is the one who needs therapy... he really does. It cannot be everyone and not him... He needs to take responsibility and fight for the relationship...tell him that you love him, that you need him and that you want Gage to stay and be a family.
So many comments about Jeff "pushing people away" and everyone "leaving Jeff" etc. His problem is that he hires everyone he's close to, and/or becomes too close to those he hires. Every one of his personal relationships seem to involve him HIRING them. Then he feels used, or taken advantage of when they don't do the work he thinks they can bring to the table. Keep your professional and personal lives separate. The show would still work!

That writing was on the wall a long time ago. Gage was never treated as an equal and Jeff was always demeaning him. Gage lasted way longer than I would have. Jeff will be alone until he changes drastically.

Jeff is very sensible, reasonable (after the blowup 😂) and he communicates! Gage holding everything in and not being a communicator is very hard on someone who needs to talk things out! We don’t know their intimate times so everyone should respect that and not just blame Jeff!! I hope they can work it out and be ok together or separately🥺!
