We also use your coffee discount technique and we also unpack everything and dump the packaging.

That's the key Bruce. Although Karen says when it comes to food our teamwork is she cooks it and I eat it. Cheers!

Thanks so much Graeme. 2020 was a challenging year for us but it's all speed ahead now. We may not be completely regular with our Episodes straight away but we're looking forward getting more out as often as possible. Cheers!

When we're on long passage we do the same, get rid of packaging and buying in bulk especially tge bigger heavier items.
Wow, that meat market looked amazing. How big is your boat? Ypu had loads of stowage areas, I'm very jealous.
So lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world, with so much ocean life which is seriously lacking here in the Med.
Great video, thanks for sharing 😍⛵

Thanks so much for commenting. Our boats have a lot in common. "Our Dreamtime" is a 1982 Whitby 42 Ketch. She was built in Ontario, Canada and designed by Ted Brewer. Like Cordelia she has a very secure centre cockpit and her full keel is lovely going anywhere but backwards. She does have a lot of very good storage which was a big attraction to us that's for sure. We'll get around to doing a boat tour video at some stage. We spent a couple of years in the Med on our previous boat "Alcheringa" an know what you mean about the lack of marine life. We caught one fish in all our travels. Cheers!

Hi Rob and Karen, Yes it's good to have you back up and running. I know you haven't been well Rob but i'm guessing you are well on the way back. Now nice to see some of the inside of DreamTimeSail (meaning that the camera is stationary) and i do like your Barometer on the bookcase behind Karen. It's big and bulky and stands out. It has a purpose being where it is. Good placement. And i just rewatched the video and it is not a bookcase. Pretty sure it is hiding the mast. Clever. But don't tell me you have a deck stepped mast.LOL.Now to a more current event. How are you going with floods in Brisbane? Are you safe where your base is? And is DreamTimeSail safe? We are getting awful images on the TV in Melb. Anyway stay safe and dry and looking forward to your next video. Chris

Hi Chris, first up Our Dreamtime is safely tucked away in the marina at Manly so no problems there. Thanks for your lovely comments about her interior. She's a wonderful lady and we love her. She turns 40 this year. The mast is keel stepped and you are right. The Barometer is on the mast box. There is a bookcase alongside which the salon table folds up to cover. We have shot footage for a boat tour video which we'll get around to editing sooner or later. Health wise we are both on the up and up after a challenging 2021 and are looking forward to sailing north again this winter. Cheers and thanks so much for your concern. It is very much appreciated.

@@Dreamtimesail I did notice the table top. Another clever idea from the designer. Will look forward to the 'tour" Chris

She was designed by Ted Brewer who sadly passed away just a few months ago. He really packed a lot of great ideas into the Whitby 42.
