One of the things I absolutely love about you is your logic and realistic reasoning no matter who is involved. You always explain it so well. With your speaking about the armed robbery and the sentence then comparing it to being afraid if someone knocks on the door, door dash etc... it reminds me of when I was rear-ended at 45 miles an hour. I saw it coming and because I gripped the stirring wheel and made my body tense, it caused me more injury. That was when I was 19 and I still have problems at 46. But it took me years to not watch the rear view mirror and not get scared and mad if ppl came up on me too close. It was PTSD. All this shit is real in different forms and levels. We ARE AFFECTED by the things that happen to us, especially things that are monstrous or unexpected or scarey. It can change a person completely, for the worst, and sometimes ruin a person completely cuz we all have different coping levels. It's like DNA... each one of us can react, grow, and regress completely different. One step to the left, one step to the right can all lead in a completely different life, mind-frame, and cycle. I don't want anyone's life ruined, but examples have to be set. If you have the audacity to do that, your mind is not right and it's likely you'll escalate after getting away with it once. You likely will unal8ve someone in the future if your mind is ok with live, in the spot armed robbery. It is what it is. I feel bad for our ppl and the position they've been put in. But I can't feel bad for this brother's sentence cuz when you do a crime like that, you'll do it to anyone usually. Mother, child, grandparent, father.
