@@justar6865 I agree on that :) I use Toyo on my car since they are budget friendly, and I would suppose to get Michelin :) but yeah.. and I think falken is after them. what do you use?
Rookie To Pro Mine are noisy on the highway. But oh my god do they just stick. I got my first set to replace some Kumho pa51’s so the difference was.. stark 😂
What's a suggestion for a car that will be driven in the summer only and some mountain driving and might see a little rain and and will see the drag strip from time to time and it's an AWD car? I am not ready to commit to just a drag setup but wouldn't mind on that as well.
Captain CJ 97 true but i was hoping for a daily and weekend track set up thing. I already brought the tires on the mountains and it wasn’t really holding on the corners :( hopefully just cause I didn’t warm up the tires as well as it should be. But can’t really complain about it especially for a daily.
I feel like this wasn't a video for me. I already knew the stuff in this video. I am in the market for a new set of tires though. I'm torn between Michelin Pilot Sport 4s and Hancook Ventus V12 Evo2's to go on a 335i sedan with style 197 18's off a coupe.
Just so you guys know I’m a manager at America’s tire you don’t need to replace them every time you change your tires that’s crazy. They last 6-8 years don’t waste money. You guys and your race cars will probably go through 3 sets before the battery dies. Party on
Michelin AS3 tires are trash. Just letting people know about them. Too soft of a tire that the wires are exposed after 10k miles. Yes, tires had been balanced and aligned and after 10k miles of driving and was going to get them rotated and aligned, the tires are no good.
Seriously are you guys reading my mind? I wanted to get a charger and you guys uploaded a "so you want a charger" video that week. I wanted to add color to my car and you post a video about adding color and a theme like 3 days later... YESTERDAY I start thinking about what my next set of tires should be ... here's this video.
You don't need to replace the tpms sensor, just the kit. The kit is usually a seperate stem or just the hardware holding the stem in place depending in year, make, and model.
I really hope someone reads this. You should not be changing your TPMS sensors. Those are expensive to buy and to program. Do buy new valve stems with a new set of tires. And move the sensor to the new valve stems.
Great video! Had to sub after this one as a tire guy this was a very well made and people that watch this can make my job that much easier! I I will say though, direct style TPM sensors generally have a lifespan of about 7-10 years before needing to be replaced on average. When buying tires you should always replace seals with a rebuild kit or replace the stem with a rebuild kit depending on the sensor but you don’t necessarily have to drop a bunch of money on sensors every time you buy tires. It can be ~$50-$100 per corner just for sensors and being that there’s tires out there for less than $100 per corner, I wouldn’t want someone to come in thinking they need to pay the cost of 2 sets of tires every time they need tires type of thing. But yes anytime tires are done 100% use a rebuild kit and if you’re getting new wheels and want to keep the old ones, you’ll need new sensors.
I love you guys soo much. I just bought a set of konig dekagrams in matte black for my 1994 honda del sol about a week ago. Im gonna wrap them in cooper gls tourings this friday afternoon. Cant wait to post my pic in the gallery to receive my sexy shirt!!!! 😍😍

Friends, JESUS will return soon to destroy the sin of the world through the 7 tribulations. It will be the worst period on earth ever. Repent from your sins and surrender our pain to HIM. HE loves you and is willing to help you. Repent from your sin. I bless you and cast out all your demons in the name of JESUS
You forgot band sensors. I work at a tire shop. They are a bitch. They sit across from the valve stem. And they look like an old Nokia phone. They ate usually found on older luxury cars before they implemented the small valve stem sensors. Not that it matters. Who cares that you missed 1 of 3 types of sensors. A lot of people dont know about them, and I thought it was interesting when I first came across them. So I thought I'd share.
Why would you say that tpms sensors should be replaced every time tires are replaced? These sensors are designed to last around 5 years up to 10 years before the battery inside of them die. So why would you tell someone it is rexommeneded to replace the sensors everytime tires are replaced? Also no manufacturers manual i have ever found states replacement of tpms sensors recommended when tires are replaced, only thing recommeneded is the sensors to be rebuilt (use of a tpms rebuild kid designed for that particular sensor). Also you cant even ship out tires mounted with new sensors and just bolt them on, most cars require a tpms programming tool to learn the sensors signal and position to the vehicle. Normally you guys give very accurate and good info. But on this one fact you are wrong on replacement of tpms sensors. Please verify this info before telling people to spend money on replacing something that is designed to have years of life.

I actually might plan on buying my own tires when I buy my own car 4 or 5 months from now.
Continental dws are some very high quality tires loved the set I had did well in ny winter
Firestone Indy 500's. For the price you can't beat them. Good in the wet and decent dry grip. Wear rate is decent and they aren't expensive.
I like performance all-season for the best tread life. Not like I'm carving the Nurburgring lol
Good I need my first set of tires on my first vehicle good timing
Easy answer, just daily on some gravel rally tires. Works great
The intros are always too long on this channel.
Shut up travis
Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy the videos, however I always skip the first minute and a half to get to the actual content.
Here in Phoenix summer tires are considered all seasons😂
Tires are possible one of the most important mod you can do. 5:10 I should put my FRS in the gallery 📸
Cheapest tires we sell where I work are ohtsu tires a long with maybe Arizona and roadhuggers
I just bought Federal 165/55r14's though, why fate why!

Do you have fitments for SUVs?
Yokohama advan wheels and tires all year round 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
How do you know if you need wheel spacers or not? Trying to line up the tires on my 95 sc400 without spacers.
Do you guys ship international to US territories
Anyone know what wheels those are in the bottom right corner, with the pink heart cut outs and silver barrel?
Firestone Indy 500
Should you replace all 4 at once or just replace as needed?
I would say at the minimum, replace both sides if possible.
