I once heard in a podcast that the best thing you can do for lips is apply moisturizer on them when you’re applying it to your face and then go in with your fave lip balm or Vaseline after. It lock in the moisture and helps your lips feel moisturized throughout the day. Best advice I’ve heard.
That's a really interesting take! The lips are not as thick as the skin on the face. I put my snail mucin and moisturizer on my lips that I put on my face and neck, but I wouldn't put my Differin on my lips!
The only thing I know about sunflower seed cake is that it's used in livestock feed. It's a byproduct of oil manufacturing, it's what's left over. Is that good for the skin? Yeah it should still have the vitamin e, but it's not an oil at that point.

They did my makeup to find the correct tint or colour and the lady said “you know what, since you bought all these, I’ll just give you these samples”……got a few more products free (sample size). Love the customer service. The Clinique smart clinical repair serum was approx $190 NZ. BTW. I only went in to buy a new bag to put my makeup in. Came out with Clinique. Thank you for this video, I’m going to try some of the products you mentioned.
I turned the video on and did my night skin care routine. Thank you for being so positive, calming and soothing for my soul :) Right now I’m thinking of buying the moisturizer you recommended (the iUNIK one) because I’m running out of my current gel cream.
Same! Imma check out that one he recommended as well. As for eye masks for bed, I didn't even think of them as a way to protect form premature aging, I need it to shut the light out that comes through my curtains.
hyram a life hack: instead of candles, get a wax melter and plug it in to a smart plug that automatically shuts off after X amount of time/at a certain time every night. safer in the first place bc no open flame AND timer shuts off the power for you, but you still get the vibes of a nice room-filling fragrance to set a mood
The cleansing balm main base is safflower oil which is anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, antioxidant, actively fights UV and photoaging damage, antimicrobial, antibacterial, moisturizing, has Vitamin E, pairs well with Vitamin C, and it’s noncomedogenic-suitable for oily/acne prone skin. It’s high in linoleic acid, which acneic skin is low on, so it helps balance the sebum and removes stubborn sebum deposits. It’s a great oil to form the base of this balm. Definitely recommend!
The MILK makeup brand sells a really amazing lip moisturizer it’s called Milk makeup KUSH lip glaze I put it on top of my chapstick for some extra moisture and you wake up the next morning with dewy wet plump lips! 💋 I use it before bed whenever my lips are feeling dry and it works like a charm! Plus it’s vegan, the only vegan lip moisturizer I’ve found that heals cracked chapped lips

I use Clinique Type 3 for oily skin and I love it-the liquid facial soap and toner. The moisturizer I use is Moisture Surge 72 hour (what she used) or Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (non-oily form of their transitional DDM Lotion) or Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly (clear). I think without moisturizer, the routine might be too drying. The soap and toner have actives, soothers, and humectants too. It works great for my skin. So does Selfless by Hyram line! The soap has menthol which for most people feels refreshing while rinsing, but some people have an over abundance of a receptor that makes it feel like burning. So, fair warning in that. I like their cosmetics too-very non-irritating. I know there are a lot of Clinique haters among Hyram’s fans but I am not one of them! BTW my secret sauce is the Even Better Clinical Radical Dark Spot Corrector and Interruptor, great for treating and preventing hyperpigmentation and melasma. I am turning around sun damage, freckles, and age spots with this ambrosia of the gods. A great serum!
using the skinfix barrier cream has made me realize how little moisturizer we need to use. it’s packaging dispenses a single use which is about the size of a large pea. i’m going to be saving so much $$ on products in the future!!
Helloooo Hyram! Thanks for educating us on skincare, my face is happy and you made me discover amazing and affordable Korean products. Cheers from Montreal!

It’s interesting that you mentioned people with dry and sensitive skin don’t necessarily need salicylic acid…do you mean like they don’t need full-strength 2%? My dermatologist has highly recommended gentler formulations of salicylic acid to me and all her other dry/sensitive patients! It’s done wonders to exfoliate my surface dryness and keep my pores cleared.
Hey there Hyram❤️ I'm from India and a really big fan of yours...you taught me many things about skincare so thank you ❤️ I've a request ... please make a video on Indian skincare products ❤️🥺
Love your info on specific ingredients in skincare and how it can damage the oceans, I had no idea about polyethylene being liquid plastic and I thought I knew it all
Hey Hyram! I have combo skin, but very little acne. I’ve actually always had mostly acne-free skin and very limited breakouts, even during my teen years. I’m not here to brag though, I’m here with a skincare question! Even though the center of my face is oily (T-zone, cheeks, chin), it seems to get flaky and dry. My outer face (hairline, jaw) does not dry out, but it also doesn’t produce oil really. I got a facial at the local beauty school, and the student who worked on me said that I could fix that by using a toner on the center of face/where the problem is. I went ahead and tried, because I have a toner that I already purchased and I’d rather use the pointless thing than throw it away. The whole time I’ve been thinking, “Hyram says I don’t need this!! Why did that student recommend it??” But now even crazier, I feel like it’s helping with the problem????? I think the areas of my face where I’m applying the toner are actually looking better and producing less sebum. The majority of my blackheads have always been, of course, where all the oil is. And yeah I definitely still have blackheads, but I think there are fewer. How can this be? Is it possible I’m the random person that toners benefit? I hate to even ask this, you’ve explained to us so many times why we can live without a toner. In case it’s relevant, I’m using the Elf Keep Your Balance Toner (which again, I had already purchased before she recommended I use one). Thanks!!
When you use Clinique you need to give it a chance...I've used clarifying toner number 2 but mainly I use 1.0 and 1 but all of them are fine (ok maybe for my skin)...but I have sensitive skin too. But you need to mix and match. Don't use too much of the harsher toner interchange it with a gentle one.
Did I waste thirty dollars on a crappy skincare routine, start watching skincare with Hyram, throw the old stuff away, drop thirty more dollars on cerave and the ordinary? That’s one secret I’ll never tell, XOXO gossip girl.
That’s so strange, but i work at store that sells that toner and the ingredients are as followed… Water / Aqua / Eau, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Biosaccharide Gum - 1, Butylene Glycol, Acetyl Glucosamine, Glycerin, Sucrose, Salicylic Acid, Caffeine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polysorbate 20, Trehalose, Capryloyl Glycine, Disodium Phosphate, Trisodium EDTA, Benzoic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, so love that is dye free and alcohol free.
I use Aquaphor on my lips. It’s amazing. I stopped using lip balms years ago. I gave a few lip balms another try a while ago and immediately could tell they were not going to cut it. A travel size tube lasts forever for me.
I wasn’t a huge fan of sleep eye mask until I got one that is slightly raised. That way I can open my eyes with it on. I found it when I needed help with migraines, when I’m awake I can actually lay there with my eyes open but remove all lights. Earlier this year I bought a heated one Amazon. It’s not raised like the others but wow does it help me sleep. I have insomnia and shocked how helpful it is. The heat is on a timer for 10-30 mins I believe so it’s not on all night.
Hyram can you please review Asian luxury skin care like SK-II, Sulwhasoo & Shiseido? I’d love to know how they compare with La Mer, Lancome and other luxury brands.
Could you sometime mention how much moisturizer you are supposed to use? I have started using a bit more in my routine than when I started to use my current moisturiser, and saw great effect with with doing so, but I also don't want to waste product! Love your videos, btw 🥰
I actually felt better that she used a clarifying toner because she didn't go in with a water based cleanser. At least she washed off her balm/milk with water and then went over with a toner so her skin would be technically cleaner for serums/moisturizers. Also, the alcohol/salicylic acid might not be that drying since they would have removed the remaining product from her first two oily cleansers. I mean not at ideal routine but still better than people who only use an oil cleanser and wipe it off without even emulsifying and washing it and directly jump to the next steps.
I use plain old coconut oil to remove my makeup then i use a foaming cleanser, i love Avène these days. My dermatologist said contrary to popular belief the coconut oil is perfectly fine. And the oils removes all the dirt. Cheap and effective 🙂 and zero plastic!!!

I was a child of the 80s and getting my first Clinique three step set when I earned my first proper paycheck, was like a right of passage! But then I had a Boots 17 three step routine from the age of 11!
Fun fact: Scorpio and Taurus are sister signs so they usually tend to really vibe and understand each other 😎
they are not. libra and taurus are the sister signs because they share a ruler. Emilia Clarke is a Libra With Moon in Cancer!
I really appreciate the “not including the last season…” because truth.
I was so excited for this video
I will never get over how dirty they did Daenerys in the end of GoT 🥲
It really was a car crash for both Daenerys and Cersei
I surprisingly liked how it ended i feel like her dying had to happen cause it rly looked like she was starting to losing her human decency when she killed all those innocents and it doesn’t matter how angry and revengeful she felt they were innocent ppl and didn’t have to pay for sum they had nun to do with
@@hhhhh45543 that’s what people are saying tho. They did her dirty by making her do things that are out of character to the point that there is no way the show could end with Daenerys alive.
It was horrid 😪
The ending of GoT literally did everyone dirty. The characters, the story, the actors, GRRM, and the fans. We all got screwed.
Emilia Clarke and Zoe Deschanel are my favorite actresses. They’re both so wonderful
Emilia and Hyram in the same video!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEE❤️💜🖤💚
Emilia Clarke is sunshine ☀️
LOVE LOVE LOVE EMILIA but girl needs to sort out her routine big time!
Emilia literally charmed me into buying Clinique Black Honey best budol of 2022
Hey there Hyram❤️ I'm from India and a really big fan of yours...you taught me many things about skincare so thank you ❤️ I've a request ... please make a video on Indian skincare products ❤️🥺
Omg literally everything Hyram said about Emilia is how I fell in love with her I loved her since me before you but with GOT I loved her more
Love your info on specific ingredients in skincare and how it can damage the oceans, I had no idea about polyethylene being liquid plastic and I thought I knew it all
What she didn’t mention was she has never used these products before and she got a PHAT check from Clinique
Thanks!!
Just discovered you and will pretty much click on any video you upload 💙 you’re amazing 🤩
Hi Hyram!
If you’re looking for a good lip product, I’d totally recommend to use a lip balm by glossier. The best I’ve ever had so far.
Love 🤍
She didn't use the clarifying lotion 1. She used the 1.0 which doesn't have alcohol in it.
I love Emilia Clarke so freakin' much.
@hyram you would love the 1.0 toner… you looked at the wrong one. It’s fabulous.
I like this video as I learn much more about various ingredients through your explanations!
Have you listened a podcast episode with Emilia on table manners??? It’s SOOOO good. And you find out so much about it
That’s so strange, but i work at store that sells that toner and the ingredients are as followed… Water / Aqua / Eau, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Biosaccharide Gum - 1, Butylene Glycol, Acetyl Glucosamine, Glycerin, Sucrose, Salicylic Acid, Caffeine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polysorbate 20, Trehalose, Capryloyl Glycine, Disodium Phosphate, Trisodium EDTA, Benzoic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, so love that is dye free and alcohol free.
Girl dipropylene glycol and butylene glycol are both alcohols? Whatcha saying 🥺
@@ishaligarg5926 oh lol my bad, but at least it’s dye and fragrance free ☺️🥳✨
Emilia Clarke is the sweetest girl on earth or at least in the movie industry
I LOVE YOU HYRAM ❤️
Hyram can you please review Asian luxury skin care like SK-II, Sulwhasoo & Shiseido? I’d love to know how they compare with La Mer, Lancome and other luxury brands.
Am I the only one who also does the intro shoulder thing, every time? 😆💫
Taurus and Scorpio are astrological besties we’re both secretive loyal bitches 🙃
Absolutely loved this look!
I love Emilia….and love you too Hyram 🥰
Could you sometime mention how much moisturizer you are supposed to use? I have started using a bit more in my routine than when I started to use my current moisturiser, and saw great effect with with doing so, but I also don't want to waste product! Love your videos, btw 🥰
“Control the gay” your so funny and very helpful in def starting a new skin routine and def starting sunscreen !!
Love her!! Hey Hyram do you have a recommendation for a cleansing balm that doesn’t have plastic in it?
Thanks!!
I use plain old coconut oil to remove my makeup then i use a foaming cleanser, i love Avène these days. My dermatologist said contrary to popular belief the coconut oil is perfectly fine. And the oils removes all the dirt. Cheap and effective 🙂 and zero plastic!!!
Awhhh YES scorpio gang! I didn’t know she would be one I wouldn’t guess!
