Right now my stream decorations are whatever I can do in OBS, and even at that it’s theoretical because of procrastination 😓 however I have plans, and seeing the Elgato Strip Lights on your streams has given me a lot of ideas!

I don't have much of a setup, as I am still limited to an extremely low budget. But I have all my qualifications from University framed - above my monitors - and I love the pride they bring me.

The fog machine is cool but you really should be using a Haze machine in such a small space. especially for such a long period like a stream. Same idea but the particles are better diffused and the fluid is... still not great for your lungs, but way better than a fog machine. Also make sure you get the water based haze solution and not the soap based haze solution. again, more about your lung health long term. The effects on the lights will be very similar.
If you're talking RGB then Lumia Stream is a must. Who wants to have to use a mobile app to control their lights anymore? 😂
I have a bit of RGB lights too all hooked up to LumiaStream. Love all the effects and channel points redeems I can do with them. It’s so much fun. There’s 4 LIFX bulbs, a strip, and bar. It really lights up the room and stream.
This room is a perfect candidate for Lumia Stream!
Having chat control your smart lights makes things so much funner
Aputure needs to make a streamdeck integration for their app, that would be GAME CHANGING for our stream setups at oni. Right now I've gotta worry about DMX and all that if I want midi controlled lighting.
Atmoseeker has a video on how to get around that. You can install a virtual dmx controller to your computer, then sync the dmx buttons to the streamdeck as a custom button
@@Painted-Coyote I’ll have to look it up- do you still have to have DMX interface hardware? That’s the biggest cost barrier for me.
@@frankanzalone5204 as in the wires? You do need a dongle for them but the actual console that you use to talk to the lights ect is a program on your computer
@@Painted-Coyote yeah I figured. There’s tons of ways to get it to streamdeck once you get DMX to the PC, it’s just getting a DMX network set up that’s the pain. Especially if you have 5+ devices and you want different channels and universes.

Check out the LIFX Beams in that case - Although LIFX just been acquired by Feit Electric, fingers crossed Feit don't mess with the LIFX API 🤞

I would say that the difference between the Amaran brand and the Aputure brand is that Aputure lights are sort of designed to throw every day in the trunk of a car to set up at another movie set the next day. Amaran is more designed for the prosumer who sets up his studio one or a few times and expects it in every other regard to work just like the Aputure lights. Amaran is less sturdy but why would you pay for heavy duty lights if you just set everything up just once or a few times?
If they support DMX, you should check out Lumia Stream. I use it to control my non-DMX lights while streaming, but I bet DMX control would be amazing with those!

Going in with the idea of “make this room good without rgb” is a good method because to many ppl have rgb puke all over their streams but if used correctly rgb can add some spice to a set

HI HARRIS! a lot of elgato wave link user are facing a problem, and it's that game sounds are distorted when playing and i found out that it's because of the nvidia broadcast noise removal filter which was implemented in the last update. any workaround in this? or can you let elgato know about the problem? idk how
