As a retired teacher I had to laugh about the documentation. I have 2 books and one notebook = 3 different data collectors! ; ) One is the 2024 Book of Days, next is Kit It Up Project Book that I bought from The Daily Stitcher, and lastly is my notebook which I use to journal. Each is important to me. I will say the Kit It Up is the most time consuming. There are two pages devoted to one project. You have all the data about the project except start and finish dates. So, I just write that at the top of the page. You are doing great as Daisy as your partner.🙂🙃💕 I miss not having a dog in my life. So I do enjoy Miss Daisy'a appearances.
Hello again, Sarah! I so enjoyed every bit of your video, especially the visit with sweet Daisy! 🐾 She is so precious! I loved hearing about the retreat, and the story about My Blue Heaven…the design itself is very beautiful, and the story touched my heart ♥️. Speaking of heart, one thing I’ve noticed about you is YOUR lovely heart! You just have a beautiful spirit which shines through, and even in your closing remarks, when you told us to check on others in our lives who might need attention, it showed how thoughtful and considerate you are! ☺️ Thank you for that! Happy stitching until next time…. Meline
I really liked hearing your stats and about your thought process when considering new starts. I do not have a lot of x-stitch WIPS. I keep that in check because I have A LOT of quilting and knitting/crocheting WIPS. I get lots of inspiration and motivation when hearing you and other cross--stitchers discuss their project management strategies. Look forward to your next video.
Really enjoying your flosstube. We are thinking alike. I finished 2023 with 80 WIPs. I am going to limit my new starts and concentrate on finishing this year. There may not be 24 but I’m going to try. One of my WIPs is Let Love Reign and when I saw yours it has inspired me to keep going. Yours is so beautiful!
I love all your projects and like the “intentional” work you have planned for this year. I need to do the same and love the journal idea. I tend to work in several different crafts and think this would be a great way to keep track of everything. Thanks!
Hi Sarah, I enjoyed your floss tube so I have subscribed! Your stitching is beautiful! Blue Heaven and your Theresa Kogut piece are stunning! Daisy is adorable! I have a pup and she is Sadie! They are so sweet! Happy stitching!
Oh My Gosh! Great great progress! Love your new plans for the new year! I too am working on finishing things I’ve started and am being intentional about all of my new starts too! Or at least I’m going to try! Soooo many beautiful charts out there. Thank you for sharing! Happy stitching!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Journaling, I am going to try to keep a journal this year. I don't have WIPS as I do 1 project at a time, don't want to get overwhelmed. I am a quilter & have been working on completing my UFO'S from many years. Happy Stitchin'
I wish my dogs (and cats!) were as quiet as your Daisy! Love your word ‘intentional’! While I haven’t really codified a plan per se, that’s also definitely my aim for 2024. Happy stitching!
Omg the asmr of Daisy nesting made my day 😂 The Blue Flower is my favorite as well- Jeannine not only has a way with color but her poetry is fantastic ❤❤ Thank you for sharing!!
Love your videos! I want to wish you luck on your 24 finishes in 2024. I know you will complete this goal! I look forward to seeing your work as you progress. My granddaughter loves the freebie from Teresa Kogut called Create. She picked out DMC’s 3041, 3811, 503, 3743, 597, and 504. It is turning out so sweet, purples and teals, her favorite colors. I only have the one cross stitch at the bottom to finish. Then I want to stitch my Blessing Sampler, Ellen Johnson 1883 by GigiR. I loved the proceeds are going to doctors without borders. Happy stitching! Hugs to Daisy!❤
Loved yr video tonight; what a treat to see Daisy all dolled up! So relaxed & confident in yr new plans & choices. My first start for January was Spring Quaker; my goal is 5-7 days then 2-3 days of a small. I’m trying for balance this year! 😉 Happy Stitching!
You go girl! I’m working on Light of Winter also. Started Teresa Kogut’s patron mystery SAL Hometown. 2 years!!! Each month is very little. 50x60. I’m going to my first retreat next week in Ft. Walton Fla. so excited. It’s a small one with 60 people. Rosewood Manor is the designer. Have a great week 🪡🧵
Love all your stitching and stitching stuff. Sometimes the gadgets and notions are as much fun as the stitching. Your dog is cute. Thanks for showing her.
It’s summer here in Australia. I had a glass of wine and watched your latest video. You have such a lovely nature and natural presence on screen. You have some beautiful projects. My goal this year is to finish more than I start. The retreat sounds wonderful. I’d also be interested to know what you’re reading. Take care and pats for Daisy. 🌼
I loved hearing Daisy scratch ❤ I lost my little fur baby recently and it sounded just like he did and brought back nice memories 🩷. I loved hearing all about the Blue Heaven chart and the retreat. Sounds so fun! Have a great day!
Very good video, I’ll tune in again. Your stitching is beautiful. You are inspiring me to try to finish things I have stitched. During this extremely cold weather I’ve been getting in some stitching and I like that. See you next week.
Loved seeing your finishes and those WIPs were amazing! The Light of Winter is one I want to start this year but Let Love Reign and My Blue Heaven were also so lovely and inspiring. I’m assuming My Blue Heaven will be available in another year since it was a retreat piece? Daisy is so precious in her sweater gift! Enjoy your stitching and finishing of WIPs this year. Like you, I have been diligent to use the patterns and stitch on WIPs that I previously bought. 😄
Hi Sarah!! Another great floss tube you have been very busy. I love all your finishes especially Magical Snowman. So jealous that you went to a retreat. It sounded like you had an awesome time!!! I am ready to go to another one. The next one I go to is the Fanciful Flamingo in July and then September is back to Michigan can not wait for that one!!!!! I hope to see you there????? Thanks for making my day a bit brighter!!!!♥
Hi Candy! Thank you so much for the beautiful card! I’m so jealous that you’re going to the Fanciful Flamingo retreat. I’ll be seeing you again in September! ❤
Really enjoyed the video visit, Sarah!! 💕 My Blue Heaven is SO pretty!! Those are the types of charts that break my goal of no new stash or no new starts... can't help it!! 💙☺️☺️ Love that cute lil print of Daisy! SO cute n sweet!! 🩷
Hi Sarah - enjoyable as always. Beautiful finishes. Looking forward to seeing them as FFOs. I love seeing someone super organized like me. I even have all my floss listed in a spreadsheet to keep track of what I have. A tab for each company listed alphabetically. And any charts not in a project bag with a specific fabric or floss, are in binders alphabetically by designer. 😉 I would love to see what you do. I would also love it if you quickly mentioned what you are reading at the end. I am a voracious reader. At the end of last year I heard about a couple of books by Flosstubers. Hester by Laurie Lico Albanese (recommended by Stephanie at Lindy Stitches) and Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus (did you recommend this one?) Both were fantastic reads. I would love more suggestions to get me out of my typical list of mystery writers. Take Care!
I did not recommend Lessons in Chemistry, but I read it last month and absolutely loved it! I’ve had several people ask me about books so I may start talking about what I’m reading at the end of the video.
I’m so sorry you have to say “be nice.” That should jut go without saying. 🙂 I had a gentleman try to help me put tire chains on my car last week. I kept thanking him over and over. I was so grateful for his help. He looked at me and said, “isn’t this what nice people do for nice people? Help each other out?“ it was so refreshing to meet a stranger like that because that is how I was raised as well. I love seeing all your cross stitch projects and hearing the background and your stories. Keep up the great content! I’m going to Stitch Con for the first time this year! What weekend will you be there? I’ll be there Week B.
Another great Floss Tube Video! It was great to see the notification pop up! Stay warm and happy stitching. Hope you had fun at the retreat. I wish we has retreats and LNS here in Atlanta! BTW - I am kitting "Let Love Reign" and I absolutely love the greens and blue you changed. Would you please share those DMC color numbers with me/us? I would love to use the ones you picked! Thanks
Hi Sarah & Daisy, Had a great time seeing you at the retreat. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Hopefully it won’t be long till we meet in person again. Until then stay stitching and keep showing Daisy loved seeing her at the beginning lol. Hugs 💕
Awe ❤ Daisy is a cutie. We have a half-chiweenie, half-schipperke, all criminal lol Another fun video. I am using the new Lori Holt planner pages this year. Your book of days and journal look really helpful too. Would love to see your crafty space organization. Tfs ❤
QUESTION: What do you do with all your charts when you're finished with them? I just don't know what to do with mine. Well done on your finishes so far for 2024. That's so motivating 👏
Abby and Barkley are waving hi to Daisy and are so happy you like your sweater. She looks adorable. So sorry I missed you at Stitch Away, I hated to leave but no one needs whatever it was that I had. Another great video, you are making great progress on your 2024 goals. 😊
Sarah, this was a great video. Hi Daisy. I love your FFs and can't wait to see them as FFOs. Glad you had a lovely time at the retreat. Sounds like you are sticking to your plans which is great. Looking forward to your next video as always and seeing sweet Miss Daisy.
Hi Sarah! I’m enjoying this go-round of your channel. I’d love to see what is behind you and the rest of your room. I respect your plan to lower your WIP count and I’m cheering you on! Best of luck!! I’ve already subscribed.
Hi Sarah and stylish Daisy, I think you must have crystal ball because I have quite a lot of finishing pieces from Chantelle's 141 and the stitched pieces to go on them! 🥲 I do not why I don't buckle down and get them fully finished. I loved seeing your stitching and hearing about your retreat. Thanks a bunch! Janine
Hi Janine! I also have quite the collection of pieces from Chantelle, and really need to get down to finishing more things on them. Feel free to join in on the 141 Finishing Frenzy! ❤
Loved hearing about your retreat and all your organizing systems...I tend to just use index cards that I put in my project bags that list any floss changes and what fabric I used etc then I just put the index card in a box for safe keeping. I love your little needle minder hoops.. do you put anything behind the fabric to stabilize it or bulk it up. I would love to make some of these for my craft room. 😊 Loving you new channel I've been a subscriber since stitchy Sarah reads .. Loved hearing about your books as well . Have a great stitchy week 😁
I used to use index cards and then I got lazy. I need to go back to that system because it’s easy and helps me remember all the details. For the hoops, I just put cotton fabric on the back. I’ll try to remember to show the back in a video. Thanks for being a long-time subscriber, through all the evolutions of my Flosstube journey! ❤
I am also an upper left corner stitcher when I start a new pattern. I'm also a retired grade school teacher - 2nd and 3rd grade. As I look back on my training, it was definitely stressed to model always starting to write in the upper left hand corner as part of reading readiness. Could there be a correlation between how we start a new project and our professional training? I started back to cross stitching a couple of years ago and I enjoy watching your episodes when they post. Thanks for such great content. Happy stitching in 2024!
Great video! It was fun to see Daisy. As a heads-up, there’s an odd reflective quality to the picture in this video, primarily visible in the lower right corner
Thanks Sarah! Yes, I had dropped my phone at Stitch Away, which cracked my screen protector, causing the reflection you saw in the video. I got my screen fixed yesterday and the reflection is gone now!
Hi Sarah. Just found your flosstube today. I really enjoyed watching and listening to you. You have a very calming way about you. Such beautiful work. I do have a question, what is Chantelle's Design board 141?
Thank you Cindy! Chantelle’s 141 Designs is a small business that creates finishing boards for cross stitch. Here’s a link to her shop: www.chantelles141.com/
Hi Sarah! I am wondering if you would share who made the adorable little quilted boxy pouches that you were given at the retreat. Do they have a shop? If not, I would like to follow them on social media. Everything tiny is so much cuter, isn’t it?
Would you tell us the flosses you changed in Let Love Reign? I know you said you changed the blue and the green but please share the color numbers. Thanks!

I loved hearing Daisy scratch ❤ I lost my little fur baby recently and it sounded just like he did and brought back nice memories 🩷. I loved hearing all about the Blue Heaven chart and the retreat. Sounds so fun! Have a great day!
Oh Cheryl, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m glad Daisy’s scratching brought back happy memories and not sad ones. ❤
OMG! I'm working on Winter Cometh right now!!!!
It’s such a fun stitch! ❤
You are a joy to watch.
Thanks Sandra! ❤
I started this year really wanting to finish some WIPs. I am going to try to FFO 24 things this year. Making a goal helps to get it done.
You got this, Lisa! Happy stitching! ❤
So enjoyed your flosstube! Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and of your stitching.
Thank you for watching, Glenda! ❤
Great update, great projects! ❤

Thank you Linda! ❤
I glad hear that you had fun at your retreat, Sarah! 😊 Happy stitching! 🧵🪡🎉
Thank you! ❤️
Blue Heaven is so beautiful and it’s only right to start right away. My dog is always fluffing up her area so it’s just right also.
I guess people fluff their pillows, so why wouldn’t dogs? 😂
Great update. 🌻🪡🌻
Thanks Janet! ❤
Nice puppy!
Sarah all the best luck on your floss tube. Keep the water close. God bless
Thank you Debra! ❤
Another wonderful video! Hey Daisy!!! As always, I love everything you stitch!

I would also assume My Blue Heaven will be available to the public at some point. Not sure when, but it’s usually a year.
Good to visit with you.
Thanks Nancy! ❤
Hi Sarah!! Another great floss tube you have been very busy. I love all your finishes especially Magical Snowman. So jealous that you went to a retreat. It sounded like you had an awesome time!!! Hi Candy! Thank you so much for the beautiful card! I’m so jealous that you’re going to the Fanciful Flamingo retreat. I’ll be seeing you again in September! ❤
Daisy is a great show opener. Love your shirt. Enjoyed everything on your video.

Hi Sarah - enjoyable as always. Beautiful finishes. Looking forward to seeing them as FFOs. I love seeing someone super organized like me. I did not recommend Lessons in Chemistry, but I read it last month and absolutely loved it! I’ve had several people ask me about books so I may start talking about what I’m reading at the end of the video.
Beautiful stitching and beautiful Daisy-girl.
Thank you Jeanne! ❤
I’m so sorry you have to say “be nice.” That should jut go without saying. 🙂 I had a gentleman try to help me put tire chains on my car last week. I kept thanking him over and over. Isn’t it wonderful when we meet people who are willing to help and be kind? That can be rare these days. ❤
Hi Sarah😊 the sticker was from Susan Coates. It was great seeing you again! Hope we can plan a finishing weekend😊
Thanks for telling me who the sticker is from, Dawn! A finishing weekend would be awesome! ❤
Thanks
Thanks Beth! I am going to film another video today and will make a point to share those colors when I show Let Love Reign. ❤
Hi Sarah & Daisy, Had a great time seeing you at the retreat. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Hopefully it won’t be long till we meet in person again. Until then stay stitching and keep showing Daisy loved seeing her at the beginning lol. Hugs 💕
It was wonderful to meet you, Beth! We’ll have to keep in touch on Instagram, and hopefully we’ll see each again at Stitch Away next year! ❤
Awe ❤ Daisy is a cutie. We have a half-chiweenie, half-schipperke, all criminal lol Another fun video. I am using the new Lori Holt planner pages this year. Your book of days and journal look really helpful too. Would love to see your crafty space organization. Tfs ❤
All-criminal! 😂
❤❤❤
QUESTION: What do you do with all your charts when you're finished with them? I just don't know what to do with mine. Well done on your finishes so far for 2024. That's so motivating 👏
I store them in binders alphabetically - even charts that I’ve already stitched.
It's OK Daisy we all have to make our bed our own. I have a 18th month, 17# doxie, I wish Molly was as quiet as you. Elaine S Menominee MI
Great video, Daisy is very cute in her new sweater 😍
Thank you Lisa! ❤
A wonderful and informative video. I look forward to your videos.
Thank you! ❤
Your dog looks so cute in her outfit! My dogs would freak out if I tried to put clothing on them! Haha! Yay for your finishes!
It’s funny how some dogs like wearing clothes and others don’t.
Abby and Barkley are waving hi to Daisy and are so happy you like your sweater. She looks adorable. So sorry I missed you at Stitch Away, I hated to leave but no one needs whatever it was that I had. Another great video, you are making great progress on your 2024 goals. 😊
Thank you Michele! Daisy says hello and thanks to Abby and Barkley! ❤🐾
Sarah, this was a great video. Hi Daisy. I love your FFs and can't wait to see them as FFOs. Glad you had a lovely time at the retreat. Sounds like you are sticking to your plans which is great. Looking forward to your next video as always and seeing sweet Miss Daisy.
Thanks Fran! Daisy sends her love! ❤
Hi Sarah! I’m enjoying this go-round of your channel. I’d love to see what is behind you and the rest of your room. I respect your plan to lower your WIP count and I’m cheering you on! Best of luck!! I’ve already subscribed.

Great flosstube, Daisy is adorable.
Thank you Tina! ❤
You are so lucky to live near a nice LNS. The only LNS near me closed three years ago because the owner retired.
That’s a bummer! Thank goodness for online shops! ❤
Loved hearing about your retreat and all your organizing systems...I tend to just use index cards that I put in my project bags that list any floss changes and what fabric I used etc then I just put the index card in a box for safe keeping. ❤

I bought Beloved when it first came out. I really love that chart, and I’d tag along if you were to start it. Love your video.
I’m not sure when I’ll start Beloved, but when I decide I’ll let you know! ❤
Really enjoying your videos. Just wondering if Jen went to Stitchaway. She liked to go to different retreats.
She did, but left early because she was sick.

I never thought of being an upper left starter as related to my training as an educator….🤔 That’s a very interesting question! ❤
I glad you had such a good time at your retreat! You have a great start on finishing projects! Would you let us know what you’re reading lately?
Thanks Arlene! I have been considering whether I should talk about books again. 🤔
I’m a full coverage gal so I only dream of having a drawer full of finishes. 😂
That is something I’ve never tried. 😬
Hi Sarah! I am wondering if you would share who made the adorable little quilted boxy pouches that you were given at the retreat. Do they have a shop? If not, I would like to follow them on social media. Everything tiny is so much cuter, isn’t it?
I don’t think they have a shop unfortunately.
Your "Winter cometh" finish, did you do the sergering on the fabric, or did it come like that when you purchased it?
I purchased a custom cut at my LNS and they did the serging.
Hello beautiful! 💜☮️
Hey girl! ❤
Please tell me nail color u have on. I love it!
I get the dip powder manicure at the nail salon, so the colors just have numbers, and I don’t remember what they are. Sorry!
Hello! I think you mentioned that you changed the blue and green threads in Let Love Reign. Would you share? Have a wonderful day!
Hi Holli! I changed Oscar to DMC 469 and 924 to 926.
I talked about my changes in my most recent video, Flosstube 4.
What do you have your needle minders stuck on ? I have lots to hang up!
It’s just a hoop with fabric! Easy and cute display for needle minders!

Would you tell us the flosses you changed in Let Love Reign? I know you said you changed the blue and the green but please share the color numbers. Thanks!
I changed the Oscar to DMC 469 and I changed 924 to 926 (or vice versa). I just talked about it in episode 4.
Why the change from Stitchy Friends? I miss Jen.
Too many scheduling conflicts.
