@@ellenjgoods Debi is truly wonderful. I disovered Debi only a year ago here on UA-cam along with Jami, Dionne, IOD and of course yourself. They and yourself helped me at a time in my life when I needed lifting and the Lord guided me to you all. It has been such a blessing!!
Beautiful dresser. My mom was a flower lover too, when she was dying we had to bring in a new blooming flower everyday so she could smell it. It was hard for her to see those flowers for what we all knew would be her last time. She died when I was 23 but she passed her love of flowers onto all of us and those spring flowers when they bloom brings back the memories of her last time teaching us everything she knew about them. So glad you have your mom in your life.

Love this dresser!! I identify with your mom and her love of her gardens. My daughter is admittedly hopeless when it comes to plants, but that's okay. We're soon moving into the in-law apartment at her new home and I'll be able to create and tend gardens to my heart's content! In between watching the grands, of course. lol

Oh Lynne what a precious story . Thank you for sharing it with us. Your dresser was lovely and so creative. My Grandmother was like your mom, she loved her posies as she called them. She could grow anything and I remember the times when I stayed with her hearing her whistling while tending to her garden. It was always a special treat to have the fresh strawberries that she grew for breakfast. They always taste better at her house.Thanking for sharing your beautiful work and stirring wonderful memories also.
Posies! I haven't heard that word in a long time! It's strawberry season here now, and There is something about picking the perfect berries to make into a pie or shortcake that remind me so much of my mom ! Thanks for allowing me to share my stories!
