Me too. It saddens me that their relationship did not return to how it was prior to the forced marriage. When I first watched the show I thought they would eventually have a fun loving marriage like Zhu Zhanji’s parents. But Ruwei never seemed happy & always reserved.
The story is centered to his wife. Queen of Ming Dynasty. If I have to say, the story divided into 3 part, before she got married to Zhanji, after Zhanji become Emperor and her life when she become the Queen.
