- Business has slowly been picking up and lately I alwasy have something to do in the shop. Today I am embroidering on these expensive had bags made of different types of leather, snakeskin and even crocodile skin. I hope I don't mes these up or I will owe the customer money. Jobs like this can be nerve wrecking.

The bags looks absolutely lovely! Fantastic job! Well, you shouldn't worry if the customer paid for their service in advance and haven't picked up on time! That's their problem!
That’s true. I just feel like it’s an incomplete job if im still holding onto the finished product. Weird thing but it’s just how I feel. If im holding onto it there is still liability on my part.
The bags are awesome. I was asked about doing bags but I turned them down because i did not want to mess it up. I am still learning about which needles to use for different materials. I also got a school contract in Charlotte. You should do needle tutorial for the Ricoma. Love your work
The only time I’ve used different needles was embroidering on sweaters using an 80 needle but then i accidentally used a 75/11 for the same product on a reprat job and it came out the same. Other than that ive used 65/9 w 60 weight thread to get better details but it’s a very slight difference. You can barely tell. Other than that on my machines i have a combination of 75/11 and 65/9 scattered around. Don’t know we’re what is till its time to thread the I notice the difference with the smaller hole of the 65/9.
Very nice bags! You truly are becoming a master embroider!
Thank you. The client loves them.
Congrats My guy!
🙏🏾 Thank you Kat.
Hi Allan! Congrats on all the new exciting and retained business opportunities you're getting! 🎉 Would you ever consider adding a return shipping service fee to your pricing list? It could be based on package weight and convenience (carrier pickup/gas mileage, insurance, packing materials, labor, expedited shipping, etc.). It could help reiterate the inconvenience of people leaving their products behind and intruding into your space. 😅 Also, it could help clarify the services that you're offering each contract before the work begins... Those duffle bags looked great, and I hope the contract is retained. It would be so cool to see metallic threads, puff, and other examples of leather and embossed leather materials being embroidered. Keep up the great work! 👍🏾✨️
That is definitely something to consider. Thank you for the suggestion. I have gold and silver metallic that I’ve used on several products. Im embroidering some muslim garbs using the gold. I’ll shoot some video of it. Stay tuned.
@adubbproductions Thanks for the reply! Also, maybe consider adding shipping service fee listings to your website for completed order clients, so they can pay you upfront when they don't want to or change their minds about picking up their orders. Looking forward to that embroidery video! 😊✨️
Congratulations on all your work
Thank you.
Congratulations on the big job!!! We just landed a sample for a big client for us hoping to knock it out
Congratulations to you as well, keep growing.
Thank you for your great info. Very helpful
Most definitely. 👍🏾
I’m a newbie just now exploring tension. I have one head. I agree about pricing and now look 😁. What size needle did you use on the bags? I worked at an alterations place once and she had this issue, they paid but didn’t pick it up. I told her let me call everybody and give them , I think it was like 10 days or it’s gone. People came to pick up stuff I only threw out one item. Maybe storage fees, space is valuable that’s why stores have sales.
Standard 75/11 needles.
Yup, look at that, gotta tread lightly and feel out each situation in certain instances.
Oh yes, definitely can’t mess up on those bags🤣
0 room for error. Surprisingly i treated it like anything else and got it done very easily because I’ve tested this machine on so many different materials. It can handle anything really. You just have to know what you are doing in this instance.
@@adubbproductions wow, yes I remember you embroidered a Tim’s, that was🔥
@@MadeByTriniLena yup. Ive experimented alot.
Congrats on the new school account

Yup. He told me over the weekend. More business, I need it. I want three more schools then I’ll be able to hire someone.
@@adubbproductions awesome, praying those 3+ schools business will happen
Did you teach yourself how to embroider or did you take classes of some kind? The bags look fantastic!
Wow that’s 🔥
Thank you.
🎉🎉🎉 keep going, man.Hope you don't get success and more jobs keep happening.💰💰💰
Thank you. Success and blessing to you and yours as well.
You should tell them, they have 2 to 3 days after there product is finished to come get it or you're going to add holding fees on top of the price
That’s an idea but i don’t wanna deter clients from using me by having such strict policy. Good idea though. Maybe in the future when I’m
