my guitar teacher plays a tele and he's great at it. He would teach me metallica and acdc and all sorts of metal and hard rock on it, and since i never cared for country, I've never bothered to learn it and he never bothered to teach me.
I want to make a partscaster tele that is a baritone HS because it'd be unique and also if I put a really hot humbucker in the bridge and a regular noiseless tele neck pickup it'd clean up for sections where I might want a crystal clean tone in a way that my HH ibanez RGD with super hot pickups can't.
I hate when you are buying your first guitar or one of your first and a guitar shop employee try’s to guide you in the direction of a guitar away from what you wanted, when I first got my first electric guitar I wanted this £200 squire strat because I liked the look of it and really wanted it but the guitar shop owner said you should get this pre owned owned Yamaha Pacifica that no joke weighted 12 Ibs and I ended up with that guitar, never enjoyed it and then sold it
@ it’s been 3 years since I’ve started, and in that time I’ve got a job and have managed to own 15 guitars over that time ranging from Prs se’s all the way to USA Strats and Gibson les Paul’s, atm I have my Prs se p20e acoustic, my fender mij strat/ tele which I’m going to sell, and my main guitar is my fender Aztec gold with rosewood neck hss mod shop strat and I love that guitar
Another awesome video Cole! I saw you privated your last video so I didn't get to ready you comment about the pickups :/ please let me know your reply because I'm curious!
Where does this myth come from. Is this an US-American thing? There are and there where so many Telecaster players from different styles (Blues, Rock, Country, even Jazz and more) that I don't know how this solely connection to country comes from.
I was young once but wised up. Telecaster is cooler the older I get. Bout to get my second one
So true! That’s awesome!
Leo nailed it first time out. The peoples guitar.
Very true!
Teles are great my favorite position is position 4 my tele has a 4 way swich with humbucker wireing.
Nice! I bet that sounds sweet!
It's a squire classic vibe thinline in natrol. It plays metal, jazz, punk, and goth really well.

Getting my second telecaster this Christmas. I love them
That's awesome, I am excited for you!

That would be a super cool guitar!
as a person who doesn’t really like teles that much, i would, too, choose the tele over ibanez any day

I agree with you it really sucks. Holy crap that is so heavy! That sucks that you never got to enjoy it or get the guitar you actually wanted.

Thank you! Oh that’s so weird, I never privated it? How bout you shoot me an email (emails in the description of the video) and we can talk there.
im pretty sure anyone whos played one will tell you the tele is the swiss army knife of guitars, other than the strat
Exactly! Totally agree with you.
El Hefe, J Mascis, and Tom Morello.

I honestly don’t know! Maybe it’s a
Canada guitar store employee thing??
The Telecaster is for country. That is what it was made for. But making tools work outside of their intended use case is my favorite thing to do😮💨
Tele's are so good I own three
heck yeah, you're a lucky man!
nice!
Thanks!
