I would call this great man a Mehrishi; Mehrishi Wahidudin Khan. I don't think Muslims have produced a scholar of his level during last 500 years at least. @@andgs3661 he is trying to make people to identify the problem , and strategy of solving it he proposed was to counter the problem with peace. if have you have listened to the whole video you can understand maulana is seprating each and every cluttered problem individually. this strategy works best when you care for each side , so that there is minimum damage. speaking of modern day politics i feel it is corrupted and it can never be a way of islam. there must be a concept of politics in islam, but i dont know about it. and yes Islam guides us how to live life accordingly, this includes how we have to go to toilet. these are basic manners. you can apply them too. thanks.

Umar bin khattab is the same man, who Swore to kill Prophet mohd before converting to Islam 2. During Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon, on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah, 10 AH in the Uranah valley of Mount Arafat, during the Islamic pilgrimage of Hajj. Prophet Mohammed announced his successor as Ali and Umar promised in that meet to support Ali, but soon after this joined hands with the 1st caliph Abu Bakr ignoring the promise given to the prophet.. 3. Islamic prophet mohd was poisoned did not die a natural death, even as he only ate at aiysha house only nobody questioned aiysha, they blamed jew women for this. Prophet mohd was bleeding from the head and his teeth was broken. Hamza and Ali fought to save him, hamza gave his life but Abu ‘Obaydah, Omar, Abu bakr and Uthman fled and then returned to medina after 3 days. At the time of death prophet mohd asked something to write his last will but he was denied by umar. 4. 90% Muslims ignore that the last sermon of prophet mohd, where he clearly said ali is to be respected as equal to the prophet, he said people to follow him and his family. Umar bin khattab was present at this sermon agreed to support Imam Ali in front of the prophet and the entire crowd of muslims. 5. When Prophet appointed a new general for his army he asked umar and abu bakr to go to syria but they both disobeyed prophets orders and refused to go. 6. Umar was not present at the funeral of the Prophet of Islam. He was brawling with the Ansar in the outhouse of Saqifa when the body of the Prophet was being buried It is he who was responsible to make abu bakr to make abu bakr the 1st caliph against the wishes of the prophet. 7. nowhere muslims can prove that abu bakr was nominated as 1st caliph of islam by mohd, muslims cannot show me even one proof of that. which proves abu bakr hijacked the wishes of prophet mohd and islam itself. whenever you ask sunni scholars they give vague reasons, show vague verses like abu bakr was asked to lead a prayer, this is not same as black and white declare him as successor. 8. Soon after the death of prophet, broke all the treaties with neighbours which were made by prophet himself and attacked sysanaids and byzantine empire., 9. abu bkar sent umar to fatima home to force her and ali to accept abu bakr as the 1st or new caliph of islam , but fatima disapproved him. this is why umar burned her home and kicked her stomach while she was pregnant. This caused her abortion which lead to her death and death of her unborn baby . Fatimah was killed as a result of injuries sustained when her house was attacked and burned by Umar. 10. All the kins of prophet family were butchered / murdered by muslims. nobody can deny this. When I say muslims they were related to the caliphs. 11. uthman the third caliph kept non muslim cousins for collect of zaqat taxes, what was his purpose , this is why muslims of alexandria killed him. 12. uthman himself said all the persons who knew quran bye heart had died in war so there was need to collect the verses of the quran verse by verse, which he collected on scribes and then burned the originals. also dont forget the goat ate the last copy of quran. 13. at karbala muslims caliphate leaders and their relatives.killed grandchildren of mohd. 14. when imam hussain escaped arabia before that he sent his family and companions to kingdom of raja dahir a hindu king , the hindus give them refuge and shelter. ungrateful muslims will not even accept this. Proof of hindus fighting for Imam Hussain is there till today Dayar E Hind still exists in memory of the hindu martyrs. 15. after the killer muslims killed imam hussain in karbala , hejaj bin yusuf who killed at least 4 companions of prophet mohd sent mohd bin qasim to attack raja dahir and sind to kill prophets family. but muslims of pakistan and india call mohd bin qasim their hero which means you are followers of yazid. 16. For 1000s of years Hussaini brahmins have existed and their stories narrated in Sindh generation after generation. Persian books like Chachnama talk about the Raja dahir story. Sindhi have written books about this. 17. Umar pierced the pages of the Quran onto the spears to motivate muslims to fight the persians. 18. The prophet on his deathbed, he asked the companions to bring pen, paper and ink so he might dictate his will but Umar defied him. He did not let the Apostle dictate his will and testament. 19. The Banu Umayya were the traditional champions of idolatry and the arch-enemies of Muhammad and his clan, the Banu Hashim. Muhammad had broken their power but Umar revived them. The central component of his policy, as head of the government of Saqifa, was the restoration of the Umayyads. He turned over Syria to them as their “fief,” and he made them the first family in the empire. 20.When Syria, Jordan and Palestine were conquered, Umar appointed Enemy of prophet , Yazid bin Abu Sufyan the governor of Syria 21. When Yazid bin Abu Sufyan, the governor of Syria, died in the plague of 18 A.H. When Umar heard the news of his death, he went to see Abu Sufyan to offer condolences to him. But Abu Sufyan interrupted Umar's commiseration, and asked him, “Whom are you going to appoint governor of Syria in place of my late son, Yazid?” Umar said: “Of course, his brother, Muawiya. There are so many incidents like this mentioned in Sahi Muslim and Sahi Bhukhari about Umar. Whenever this questions raise the standard answer is this is shia propaganda then why are the sunnis follow the books of Sahi Bhukhari and Sahi Muslim that mention these facts. Abu Bakr and Umar were among those that Muhammad commanded to join Usama’s army, However, Abu Bakr and Umar resisted going under the command of Usama despite order of Mohammed. So there was mutinity even as Prophet Mohammed was alive, lead by Abu Bakr and Umar. Umar's political capacity first manifested as the architect of the caliphate after Muhammad died on 8 June 632. After the death of Prophet Mohd, many muslims/ Umar/ Abu Bakr deserted prophets message soon after his death and accepted Abu Bakr as caliph, the rich Ummayyads supported Abu Bakr, and the second caliph Umar also supported him. Abu Bakr then asked Umar to prophet Mohammed daughter Fatima to get her acceptance, but Fatima was very angry she said I dont want to see Abu Bakr face, asked Ali not to invite Abu Bakr to her funeral. To this Umar was very angry he pushed Fatima which led to her Abortion and then he burned her house. One by one all the family members were killed by the muslims. All these facts are recorded in Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bhukhari Soon after prophet mohammed death the caliphs ignored the existing treatys with the Sassanid, the Arab conquest started precisely when the Sassanians and Parthians were exhausted in internal warfare over succession to the Sassanian throne this was between the period from 628 to 632. Arab Muslims first attacked the Sassanid territory in 633 , The second invasion began in 636, then Caliph Umar ordered a full invasion of the Sasanian empire in 642, which led to the complete conquest of the Sasanians around 651. In this war Caliph Umar took pages of Quran and put them on the spears to motivate everyone to fight the Sysnaids, as initially people did not want to attack the Sysanaids due to the treaty in place between the arabs and Sysanaids. This is why in my view Umar betrayed prophet Mohammed, as prophet mohammed preachings was never to attack anyone who has treaty with you, and not to force anyone to convert in this case neither were observed. Eventually, military reinforcements quashed the insurgency and imposed Islamic control. The violent subjugation of Bukhara is a case in point: Conversion to Islam was gradual, partially as the result of this violent resistance; however, Zoroastrian scriptures were burnt and many priests were executed.

Being a scholar, it is hard to accept that he does not know the facts. I think, here he is trying to feign ignorance to avoid serious questions. Muhammad PBUH when started his call towards Islam he did so by using only peaceful means and taking any retaliatory action was prohibited by Allah even if they were tortured. That remained for 13 years. Many Muslims were brutally tortured to death in this era but they were only asked to be patient for the sake of Allah. But later when Muslims were in hundreds they were commanded to migrate to Madina and start an armed struggle against the enemy. Then some people disliked this command. Allah said: "Have you not seen those who were told, "Restrain your hands [from fighting] and just establish prayer and donate charity"? But then when fighting was ordained for them, at once a party of them feared people as they should have feared Allah or with [even] greater fear. They said, "Our Lord, why have You decreed upon us fighting? If only You had postponed [it for] us for a short time." Say, The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for he who fears Allah. And injustice will not be done to you, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed]." So this is not true that Islam only teaches pacifism. No one negotiates if you don't have power. That is why the pagans negotiated with Muslims after 6 years of armed conflict after witnessing their power. They hoped for Muslim annihilation before that.
That is only one way of looking at it. But what kind of war did Prophet Muhammad wage? It was a minimalistic skirmish at best. Deaths only when necessary. Very few killed. What happened to prisoners of war? This war waged by the prophet is far different than any war waged by man against man. And this type of war is a model to be followed. But currently, actually there are no wars. There are non state actors, be it India or Pakistan, who are spreading fasaad. It is the worst thing and absolutely irreligious. The Prophet wrote letters and signed treaties. He did not take recourse to such measures. Actually no peace can be preserved without soldiers. So pacifism includes soldiers. Let us take modern example. . Even Gandhiji believed in having an army and soldiers. When Nehru was confused as to what should he do im Kashmir in retaliation to Pakistan, Gandhiji told him he should send his army and had he been in his situation he would have done the same. So Nehruji did that, but later on also went to UN to broker peace to reduce deaths and destruction. He wanted to help India focus on its economy and avoid pointless conflicts. So in their actions, one can say, Nehruji and Gandhiji followed the model of Prophet. This is pacifism only. Today some people have created a weird intellectual cult on pacifism by selectively quoting Gandhiji. Infact Gandhiji had campaigned for Indians joining army in World War 1 hoping to get independence in return. Since he was betrayrd in Second world war he refused to help. But he wasn't against soldiers. He only said that civilians can also fight back and must fight back, but non violently. Gandhiji had said, that better to fight with a sword than live in cowardice, but better to fight non violently than with the sword. It is the philosophy of understanding that we all are brothers, sons of the same Adam, all creations of God. So out of respect we kill minimally.

Below are some Random points from Sahi Bukhari & Sahi Muslim the most sacred books of Islam that are ignored by all muslims
1. Umar bin khattab is the same man, who
Swore to kill Prophet mohd before converting to Islam
2. During Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon, on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah, 10 AH in the Uranah valley of Mount Arafat, during the Islamic pilgrimage of Hajj. Prophet Mohammed announced his successor as Ali and Umar promised in that meet to support Ali, but soon after this joined hands with the 1st caliph Abu Bakr ignoring the promise given to the prophet..
3. Islamic prophet mohd was poisoned did not die a natural death, even as he only ate at aiysha house only nobody questioned aiysha, they blamed jew women for this.
Prophet mohd was bleeding from the head and his teeth was broken. Hamza and Ali fought to save him, hamza gave his life but Abu ‘Obaydah, Omar, Abu bakr and Uthman fled and then returned to medina after 3 days. At the time of death prophet mohd asked something to write his last will but he was denied by umar.
4. 90% Muslims ignore that the last sermon of prophet mohd, where he clearly said ali is to be respected as equal to the prophet, he said people to follow him and his family. Umar bin khattab was present at this sermon agreed to support Imam Ali in front of the prophet and the entire crowd of muslims.
5. When Prophet appointed a new general for his army he asked umar and abu bakr to go to syria but they both disobeyed prophets orders and refused to go.
6. Umar was not present at the funeral of the Prophet of Islam. He was brawling with the Ansar in the outhouse of Saqifa when the body of the Prophet was being buried It is he who was responsible to make abu bakr to make abu bakr the 1st caliph against the wishes of the prophet.
7. nowhere muslims can prove that abu bakr was nominated as 1st caliph of islam by mohd, muslims cannot show me even one proof of that. which proves abu bakr hijacked the wishes of prophet mohd and islam itself. whenever you ask sunni scholars they give vague reasons, show vague verses like abu bakr was asked to lead a prayer, this is not same as black and white declare him as successor.
8. Soon after the death of prophet, broke all the treaties with neighbours which were made by prophet himself and attacked sysanaids and byzantine empire.,
9. abu bkar sent umar to fatima home to force her and ali to accept abu bakr as the 1st or new caliph of islam , but fatima disapproved him. this is why umar burned her home and kicked her stomach while she was pregnant. This caused her abortion which lead to her death and death of her unborn baby . Fatimah was killed as a result of injuries sustained when her house was attacked and burned by Umar.
10. All the kins of prophet family were butchered / murdered by muslims. nobody can deny this. When I say muslims they were related to the caliphs.
11. uthman the third caliph kept non muslim cousins for collect of zaqat taxes, what was his purpose , this is why muslims of alexandria killed him.
12. uthman himself said all the persons who knew quran bye heart had died in war so there was need to collect the verses of the quran verse by verse, which he collected on scribes and then burned the originals. also dont forget the goat ate the last copy of quran.
13. at karbala muslims caliphate leaders and their relatives.killed grandchildren of mohd.
14. when imam hussain escaped arabia before that he sent his family and companions to kingdom of raja dahir a hindu king , the hindus give them refuge and shelter. ungrateful muslims will not even accept this. Proof of hindus fighting for Imam Hussain is there till today Dayar E Hind still exists in memory of the hindu martyrs.
15. after the killer muslims killed imam hussain in karbala , hejaj bin yusuf who killed at least 4 companions of prophet mohd sent mohd bin qasim to attack raja dahir and sind to kill prophets family. but muslims of pakistan and india call mohd bin qasim their hero which means you are followers of yazid.
16. For 1000s of years Hussaini brahmins have existed and their stories narrated in Sindh generation after generation. Persian books like Chachnama talk about the Raja dahir story. Sindhi have written books about this.
17. Umar pierced the pages of the Quran onto the spears to motivate muslims to fight the persians.
18. The prophet on his deathbed, he asked the companions to bring pen, paper and ink so he might dictate his will but Umar defied him. He did not let the Apostle dictate his will and testament.
19. The Banu Umayya were the traditional champions of idolatry and the arch-enemies of Muhammad and his clan, the Banu Hashim. Muhammad had broken their power but Umar revived them. The central component of his policy, as head of the government of Saqifa, was the restoration of the Umayyads. He turned over Syria to them as their “fief,” and he made them the first family in the empire.
20.When Syria, Jordan and Palestine were conquered, Umar appointed Enemy of prophet , Yazid bin Abu Sufyan the governor of Syria
21. When Yazid bin Abu Sufyan, the governor of Syria, died in the plague of 18 A.H. When Umar heard the news of his death, he went to see Abu Sufyan to offer condolences to him. But Abu Sufyan interrupted Umar's commiseration, and asked him, “Whom are you going to appoint governor of Syria in place of my late son, Yazid?” Umar said: “Of course, his brother, Muawiya.
There are so many incidents like this mentioned in Sahi Muslim and Sahi Bhukhari about Umar.
Whenever this questions raise the standard answer is this is shia propaganda then why are the sunnis follow the books of Sahi Bhukhari and Sahi Muslim that mention these facts.

He also said in the same last sermon, I have left behind two precious things amongst you, one of which is greater than the other. The Book of Allah, the Exalted, and my 'itrah (i.e. Ahl al-bayt). So watch out how you treat these two after me, for verily they will not separate from each other. Umar attended the event of Ghadir Khumm, which took place a few months before Muhammad passed away. According to both Shia and Sunni sources, he was among the many who pledged allegiance to Ali at the event. In Medina, after the Farewell Pilgrimage and the event of Ghadir Khumm, Muhammad ordered an army under the command of Usama bin Zayd.Muhammad gave Usama the banner of Islam on the 18th day of the Islamic month of Safar in the year 11 A.H. Abu Bakr and Umar were among those that Muhammad commanded to join Usama’s army, However, Abu Bakr and Umar resisted going under the command of Usama despite order of Mohammed. However, while a few companions were ready to join Usama’s army, many other companions, including Abu Bakr and Umar, disobeyed Muhammad’s orders. So there was mutinity even as Prophet Mohammed was alive, lead by Abu Bakr and Umar. Umar's political capacity first manifested as the architect of the caliphate after Muhammad died on 8 June 632.
After the death of Prophet Mohd, many muslims/ Umar/ Abu Bakr deserted prophets message soon after his death and accepted Abu Bakr as caliph, the rich Ummayyads supported Abu Bakr, and the second caliph Umar also supported him. Abu Bakr then asked Umar to prophet Mohammed daughter Fatima to get her acceptance, but Fatima was very angry she said I dont want to see Abu Bakr face, asked Ali not to invite Abu Bakr to her funeral. To this Umar was very angry he pushed Fatima which led to her Abortion and then he burned her house. One by one all the family members were killed by the muslims. All these facts are recorded in Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bhukhari
Soon after prophet mohammed death the caliphs ignored the existing treatys with the Sassanid, the Arab conquest started precisely when the Sassanians and Parthians were exhausted in internal warfare over succession to the Sassanian throne this was between the period from 628 to 632. Arab Muslims first attacked the Sassanid territory in 633 , The second invasion began in 636, then Caliph Umar ordered a full invasion of the Sasanian empire in 642, which led to the complete conquest of the Sasanians around 651. In this war Caliph Umar took pages of Quran and put them on the spears to motivate everyone to fight the Sysnaids, as initially people did not want to attack the Sysanaids due to the treaty in place between the arabs and Sysanaids. This is why in my view Umar betrayed prophet Mohammed, as prophet mohammed preachings was never to attack anyone who has treaty with you, and not to force anyone to convert in this case neither were observed.
Eventually, military reinforcements quashed the insurgency and imposed Islamic control. The violent subjugation of Bukhara is a case in point: Conversion to Islam was gradual, partially as the result of this violent resistance; however, Zoroastrian scriptures were burnt and many priests were executed.

I seriously wonder, how can he be ignorant of all that is happening in India? Being a scholar, it is hard to accept that he does not know the facts. I think, here he is trying to feign ignorance to avoid serious questions. (I could be wrong aa well, but his words are all I have access to, to reach this conclusion). Answers he came up with to every question posed to him, seemed to me unsatisfactory, to say the least. I felt extremely disappointed, to be honest.

Muhammad PBUH when started his call towards Islam he did so by using only peaceful means and taking any retaliatory action was prohibited by Allah even if they were tortured. That remained for 13 years. Many Muslims were brutally tortured to death in this era but they were only asked to be patient for the sake of Allah. But later when Muslims were in hundreds they were commanded to migrate to Madina and start an armed struggle against the enemy. Then some people disliked this command.
Allah said:
"Have you not seen those who were told, "Restrain your hands [from fighting] and just establish prayer and donate charity"? But then when fighting was ordained for them, at once a party of them feared people as they should have feared Allah or with [even] greater fear. They said, "Our Lord, why have You decreed upon us fighting? If only You had postponed [it for] us for a short time." Say, The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for he who fears Allah. And injustice will not be done to you, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed]."
So this is not true that Islam only teaches pacifism. No one negotiates if you don't have power. That is why the pagans negotiated with Muslims after 6 years of armed conflict after witnessing their power. They hoped for Muslim annihilation before that.
That is only one way of looking at it. But what kind of war did Prophet Muhammad wage? It was a minimalistic skirmish at best. Deaths only when necessary. Very few killed. What happened to prisoners of war?
This war waged by the prophet is far different than any war waged by man against man. And this type of war is a model to be followed. But currently, actually there are no wars. There are non state actors, be it India or Pakistan, who are spreading fasaad. It is the worst thing and absolutely irreligious. The Prophet wrote letters and signed treaties. He did not take recourse to such measures.
Actually no peace can be preserved without soldiers. So pacifism includes soldiers.
Let us take modern example.
. Even Gandhiji believed in having an army and soldiers. When Nehru was confused as to what should he do im Kashmir in retaliation to Pakistan, Gandhiji told him he should send his army and had he been in his situation he would have done the same. So Nehruji did that, but later on also went to UN to broker peace to reduce deaths and destruction. He wanted to help India focus on its economy and avoid pointless conflicts. So in their actions, one can say, Nehruji and Gandhiji followed the model of Prophet. This is pacifism only.
Today some people have created a weird intellectual cult on pacifism by selectively quoting Gandhiji. Infact Gandhiji had campaigned for Indians joining army in World War 1 hoping to get independence in return. Since he was betrayrd in Second world war he refused to help. But he wasn't against soldiers. He only said that civilians can also fight back and must fight back, but non violently. Gandhiji had said, that better to fight with a sword than live in cowardice, but better to fight non violently than with the sword. It is the philosophy of understanding that we all are brothers, sons of the same Adam, all creations of God. So out of respect we kill minimally.

واقعی میں اس علامہ دین کو اللہ رب العالمین نے دین اسلام کا گہراو وسیع فہم عطا فرما یا ہیں لیکن دنیا کی بصیرت، سیاسی شعوراورمردشناشی سے مکمل محروم رکھا ہیں۔
علامہ کی سیاسی شعور کی پست سطح دیکھ کر
حضرت ابوھریرہ والی حدیث یاد آرہی ہیں جس میں رسول اللہ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صحابہ کرام کو حضرت ابوھریرہ کو سیاسی منصب عطا کرنے سے منع فرمایا تھا۔ کیونکہ آپ کی خاص ذہنی صلاحیت صرف احادیث جمع کرنے اور انہیں محفوظ کرکے دوسروں تک منتقل کرنے کی تھی اور سیاسی ذہنی سطح انتہائی پست تھی،
آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ خدشہ ہوا کہ لوگ حضرت ابوھریرہ کی دینی غیرمعمولی صلاحیت دیکھ کر ان کو کوئی سیاسی منصب عطا نہ کردے اور ان کی سیاسی غیر بصیرتی سے امت کوئی بڑا نقصان نہ پہنچ جائے۔عین یہیں حال علامہ وحید الدین خان صاحب کا بھی ہے۔
