Aluminum Fairchild Home Recorded Disc: Little Girl Reads Three Poems, Alice Cole 1942

This old Fairchild home-recorded disc is a lot like the earlier Speak-O-Phone discs. This feaures a youg-sounding girl who reads three poems: "Barter'"by Sara Teasdale, "Abou Ben Adhem" by Leigh Hunt, and "Those Two Boys" by Franklin Adams.
The record sleeve identifes the speaker as "Cole Alice." She mentions the year 1942 twice.
I left in the litle "problems" the disc has, like the speeded-up beginning and the sudden burst of noise when the recorder was orginally turned on and off.
