Mattel has a few different packages for their Hot Wheels singles. Most collectors prefer the USA long cards because they have extra information on the package. Most notably, the 'New for 2013' designation on the front and the extra narrative on the back. The USA cards also have the Treasure Hunt text behind the car, inside the package stating, "This symbol lets you know that this vehicle is hard to find and highly collectable."
Mattel also has a long-card package for world-wide markets. It has lots of legal information on the back that is required to be sold in various countries. These are known as world-wide long cards or multi-language long cards. Because of all of the required legal information on the back, there isn't any room for the extra narrative that we get on the USA cards. However, I don't know why Mattel doesn't put the ''New for 2013' designation or the Treasure Hunt text on the front ("This symbol lets you know that this vehicle is hard to find and highly collectable.")
There also are short-cards. They are sold all over the world. In the USA, sometimes they show up at Wal-Mart in the checkstand aisle in blue cardboard trays. Toys R US occasionally gets them but they are hung on pegs. Kmart gets them too. I know that some dollar stores get short cars as well as collectors have shared pics of them in these on-shelf blue cardboard trays.
But in the UK and some other countries, they get short-cards and they also have added "Team Hot Wheels" drivers on the front. Red Driver, Blue Driver, etc. These may also appear in other countries as well, not just the U.K. I believe that Romania gets them too. Strangely, these UK short cards do get regular basic Treasure Hunts but Supers seem to be rather scarce if not non-existant.

He was able to obtain a sealed case from Tesco. You might be able to have them order a case for you. If you do buy a case, please don't buy cases and then return the undesirable cars. Please go in with other collectors or with your family and split up the goodies =) - Авто та транспорт

Cool video. I got one of those short card cases over here. Very true what you say. Keep them carded. A couple of short card highlights I have would be the first Barbie Camper and Kool Kombie "Hello Kitty". Also the first Sea Foam green Dodge Van, Blue Toone'd Twin Mill and The Nash.

Rumors are that the short card supers were produced but went out the back door at Mattel.
In Australia, we have both the short and long cards. The short cards are found in supermarkets and the long cards are found in department stores (Kmart, Target..).
Hot Wheels cars usually sell at AUD2.29 and we do not have the Team Hotwheels characters on any of the cards.
I do listen to viewers and take comments into consideration. In the end, I have to decide if I want the video is cost effective because it's MY money that's being spent =) Thanks!

Very cool Mark and Matt. I haven't found a Super in Belgium yet since autumn 2012. Dunno what Mattel is doing with them but on Shorties they are impossible to find. 3 bucks per car, yeah that's about the price around here in the stores ;)

its very good because 1)its low 2)it has quite a big wheel at the back and lastly its just a perfect fit into the track! Thanks for checking out my vid,i am going to get another corvette so I one through criss cross crash!
Yup! Short cards are fine with me because it's the car that matters, not the card =)
The sorties are definitely harder to store, we've always had supers but in 2013, we didn't get any until the pink Boneshaker, you could still find them on the long cards, they are usually for the sweets/drinks aisle though. The batman series hasn't shown up on short card for some reason either. thanks for doing the comparison :)
Nice! Whole Europe gets this kind of cards. Seems that the assortments run parallel to the US this year. Last year this wasn't the case. Both THs Super and regular were one case ahead. Supers definently exist over here, but they seem to be rarer to find. Also supers have the same card as the regular one. Nice video! Greetings from Germany!

Yeah I deliver to Tesco stores, if you go to customer services you can place a special order for a case if you want.
I'm trying to get the Tesco stores I visit let me look though the cases before they put them out.
At the moment though Tesco's have had a big hit of International Long cards 2013 AND 2012 cars. Not sure how they've got those. My Girlfriend bought me a Batmobile Live back today on a long card. (She does same job as me & buys me Hotwheels :D)

@13:35 is a card variation because that had the headlights concealed but the ones you pulled out earlier had the headlights flipped up

Heh, $3 per car.. retail here in Norway they're ~$3.40 to ~$4.28 per car :p

Yeah we get short card without TeamHW driver, like that red Camaro you have at the beginning of your vid, in our grocery/food stores. We get the LongCards at Target, Kmart and other bigger Dept stores. Gets a bit messy when you're collecting. Have some SC some LC but hey it's all good. Love those little cars:)

Had some long card mostly black with different colour TeamHW drivers you get a sticker in the blister. All 2012 stock and pretty sure no TH or STH in the mix. Never seen them in Australia until recently.
Same in Australia. This time last year I was doing well with the supers but this year only found a couple 2013 and that was early in the year. Had nothing for a long while, big drought.

man I just ripped the exact same case in local Tesco's! nothing good! The 62 corvette is a track star, I did a vid about it so if you like you can check it out! Over where I live im like the only collector so things are easy to find! Great vid again!

i can't believe prototype h-24 is a treasure hunt!i wonder if mattel will release it with rubber tires.that will be a hit for the collectors.maybe red,white,and blue stars on it

Back in the Philippines, the price of the US long cards is a little bit higher than the international versions in hobby shops. I think we don't get the US long cards at Toys R Us there only at hobby shops.

It's a big world my friend. I don't know everything over there and you don't know everything over here.
wow where do you get cases from in the UK, I have searched everywhere. I just got my first case and had to order from the states, funnily enough I paid $80 too for expedited shipping in fact it was $78 something and normal was $77+ so it was less than a dollar, so it was a no brainer. The cars are cheaper in the States so it was only $150+ in total. As for the cards i have seen long and short here in the UK, in Asda, which is owned by walmart, i have seen tie same cars out at the same time on long and short cars.

i've only ever found one super, and i think that was lucky, like i said, you get the gready collectors who will go round every store that gets new HW boxes and look into them, if you find a sealed case you might get a super but might not, at least the USA ppl buy them but then trade them on or ask if anyone needs one

The skuttlebutt about why the UK/Inter recieves no supers is they never leave their place of orgins, removed and put up on eBay :(.

In the UK they pay with £ pounds. In Belgium are the cards the same.
In Florida we have both the long and short cards
we have them in the UK, there just old 2012 cars re-carded,
