As the Dad of a 15 years old soprano with pitch perfection and an ability to sight read, I was privileged to witness the performance , along with an equally capable alto, of the Flower Duet. I cried the whole piece. I know exactly how you feel. Congratulations. Bob
This remains one of my most favourite songs. And I am not religious. It is the spiritual experience of the Lost Chord that touches me! And I love this woman's beautiful voice and the passion with which she is singing this wonderful song!
My favorite song period. I played the piano for Jon Oliver, as he sang this song countless times. I played the piano on a piano scholarship for the Ensemble in college. We traveled to many state's to perform, not just this song. Many. She did a great job here; but, I can still hear Jon, singing this song so beautifully! Possibly, the greatest song ever written❤
This is a voice to look out for! Such a beautiful timbre, unique quality. Lieder for sure, Mahler, Elgar, Grieg, Strauss, that chest voice, rich!!! You make me cry, voices like yours are so RARE!!! And you understand how to make music. This is ARTISTRY! Thank you. 🌹
Very beautiful and expressive voice. I can Imagine this young (equally beautiful) lady singing this song for Queen Victoria's court (and the Queen would be very pleased indeed).
I've just had the rare pleasure of listening to the wonderful Beth Taylor and following in an 1869 printing of Adelaide Procter's Poems. She animates every word in a way that gives vibrant immediacy to this great old poem.
My all time favorite song. I was the piano player in college for the Sue Bennett College ensemble; and, Jon Oliver, would give me chills, as he sung this song. What a stunning voice this lady has! Thanks for sharing!
That was excellent, to pathetic applause. The chesting was so unusual to hear - Dame Clara would have been proud 😀. I just wish you'd chested the last G and F, that would've been epic, if a tad vocally destructive. 😃
What a gorgeous tone you have and such amazing control. I’m jealous as a male singer that I will never be able to get that same timbre. This performance was truly faultless minus the climax that could have used a little bit more resonance and support. But I am completely blown away, and whoever you are, you deserve more recognition. I was expecting grand applause at the end of this. I had goosebumps and chills all throughout, and even though it is a mediocre piece of music and your pianist was a little uninspired, I have decided I want this sung at my funeral. Thank you.
I'm the very proud mum of this girl. Well done Beth. xxxxx
Absolutely 🤗
No wonder you're proud! Her voice is astonishingly beautiful.
Bravo. I am an organist and I last played this at a 200th Anniversary in 2015. This soloist was also superb. Spine Tingling loveliness. 😊
Your daughter is a major talent

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CHEST VOICE! So rare today... Such a beautiful voice. Congrats! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Stunning mezzo/contralto.
Warm timbre. Very beautiful.

I couldn’t agree more enthusiastically!
Out - bloody - standing. Well done indeed.
Moved me to tears.
What a ravishing voice! One of the best renditions I've heard.
As prophetic & astounding as a Haendel's "The trumpet shall sound". Good Lord, Bless you, Beth Taylor & MARCIA HADJIMARKOS
Lovely voice! Expressive rendering of a moving song!
Beth Taylor is not only a beautiful person to know, but has an amazing range to her beautiful voice. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
An absolute joy. What s gorgeous voice and such wonderful phrasing. Pure perfection. Thank you.
Beautiful, very beautiful.
What an artiste; straight from the heart. Sends shivers through my spine

Magnificent!
She has beautiful voice with the right vocalization. Brava !!
This is a very good performance. Bravo.
Wow! Congrats Beth! And thanks to Helmut for posting this great performance.
What a beautiful voice, so nice to hear this sung so nicely.

Utterly beautiful in every way and rendered with such sincerity!
THAT is talent.
Hermosa voz e interpretación!
Such a beautiful, unique voice - and beautiful person, rich expression and spot on interpretation. I was moved. Bravo!
Wow very warm and passionate singing :-)
Beautiful
Tremendous performance!
A magnificent performance, beautiful 💖💖💓
Excellent!
Consummate lyrics and notes delivered by consummate expression. I found this sheet music in a corner pile, came here and cried in the final stanza.
Magnificent.
Since this song is a favorite of amateurs, it's such a pleasure to hear it done justice to by a singer such as yourself!
Loved it!!
Amazing!

Top voice and concentration
This is amazing!!
Glorious. ❤

Nobody performs this piece anymore, sadly. It's actually perfect for her gorgeous, rich contralto voice.
Please, please she must do Sea Pictures by Elgar
