- The plaintiff says he tried to be a friend to the defendant, especially after the defendant’s mother died. He sold the defendant a car, but soon learned the defendant is financially irresponsible and is more concerned with his looks. The plaintiff is suing the defendant for not paying off the car he purchased. The defendant claims the car was in good condition when he purchased it, but it broke down just six weeks later. As a result, he is countersuing the plaintiff for his downpayment.

"As in," isn't a condition, it's "as is." How you gonna tell Mathis it's "mint condition," and tell him you drove it for weeks, never had any problems and then when you see the pictures go, "I bought it as is and sold it mint." Yeah, he do be drinking.

A well taken care of Park Avenue is a good car. They're built like tanks, basically the luxury version of those crown victoria. Depending on the trim & year there's digital dash, leather seats, CD Player. Unfortunately this one was just a piece of trash.

My 1st impression was that it was going to be an "as is" sale, and the Defendant looked a bit creepy and came right out with that "he's an alcoholic". If that's true, why would he buy a vehicle from an alcoholic, unless he thought he was taking advantage of him?
But the Plaintiff made a HUGE mistake in telling the creepy Defendant that it was in "Mint condition" when clearly it was a rusted out rolling death trap! 💀💀🙈🙈
