OC: I’m all in with the Quad Lock ecosystem. Desk mount. Car windscreen mount. Multiple motorcycle mounts. Proud Australian supporting an Australian company 🇦🇺
I have a Peak Design mount on my bicycle handlebars. I love it because there no twisting or trying to line anything up, it just magnetises and clips in place. The only down fall for PD is that they don't have a wireless motorcycle charger yet like Quadlock does.
I always hated the QL wart on the case. I am using a Peak Design with vibration isolation on the my ZX10r. Did the kickstarter on their new charging ball mount with vibe isolation. . On a bigger bike I used a Hondo mount with a Qi charger in it.
You can't say that on this video! He's not allowed to favorite or engage with your comment like he has for every single "I love quad mount" comment on this video. This is sinply a television commercial for quad mount. And he has to give up being a real human and having real human conversations to ensure he gets paid for it.
OC. I plan on getting the handlebar mount, vibration damper, and possibly the wireless charger when I finally get a bike. Thanks for another informative video. Hope you're healing up well after the wreck.
Thanks man. Getting better everyday. If you are planning on doing longer rides and use your phone like I do for music and stuff the wireless charger is a MUCH! I love that thing.
I use the Ram Quickgrip with vibration damper. I can use any case. Easy in and easy out. Never had any issues with retention. Plus... They make ram mounts for everything so I could use the same system in any vehicle, at a desk, etc. I don't have any experience with quadlock but I have no reason to look elsewhere
I first found quad lock while looking for a mount on my Honda Shadow. I loved it so much i got one for everything, my car, the semi truck i drive, and all my bikes. They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for.
OC: i had a galaxy S8 about 5 or 6 years ago. I dropped it during one of my videos where I would take pics for a scavenger hunt type of game on a scooter forum. I was able to backtrack and find my phone but got the universal mount for my OtterBox after that incident. It's been on my ruckus ever since and I have put a quadlock case on every phone since and I have mounts on my bicycle, kids' stroller, the ruckus, and I have another one on deck for my next build. I do recommend getting the vibration dampener tho. It'll be cheaper than a new phone if your camera breaks
I use the Cayo from Motogadget. It has wireless charging, vibration damping, and is much more compact. It's made in Germany, and the phone case is much nicer.
I have a QL, the absolute GIANT flaw in the product is that single screw holding the QL to the backing. Had it back itself out at 80Km/h. Only reason I didn't loose my phone was it rolled onto soft grass and I had it connected to my coms and was able to tell when it fell because BT disconnected. After that I dipped that screw in locktite
Does the mag case work with wireless MagSafe chargers of companies other than Quadlock? Obviously it probably works with the quadlock brand wireless charger, but is say the apple MagSafe charger compatible? Quadlock says it is, but curious if you have firsthand feedback. Thanks Chase
I use a quad lock with the vibration mount on my MT-10 and it still screwed up the camera on my S20+. The focus is all messed up and videos have a slight vibration to them. Wireless charging also doesn't work anymore. Next phone is going to be kept in my pocket unless I need it for maps which is rare
Full disclosure: I had and owned a quad lock system previously. It ruined my iphone camera. I returned all the products I bought and have never mounted my next phone to my bike(s) since. I honestly miss it. It was a great system. There was a huge problem with needing the vibration dampener obviously which I had got late but the damage was done and not reversible. Would love to give another system a try, but don't want to spend the money nor take that risk again at this point. Best regards. OC
I get that. I had the same situation happen too before I knew about the vibration damper. That's why I try to make sure everyone knows to get one with a newer phone. Ive used these through some crazy riding and once I got that damper I haven't had another problem sense.
OC: I plan on adding a basic started setup with a universal mount to my Lifeproof case (my iPhone 8+ still looks brand new, and QuadLock says it works on my case). Once I start riding higher mileage, I'll add the charger.
Lol typical Yammie Knob comes here, comments hypocritical negativity, then deletes the comment and dips. I think he's mad Chase actually knows how to make good bike reviews.
It would be so great if they're new cases would stop falling apart. The magnetic ring around where it connects to the Mount falls out constantly if you like even sneeze on the phone
Quad lock is great - got it on 3 of our 4 bikes. BUT - peak design has better cases , integrated dampener , WAY easier locking system (no twists) and with the upcoming version - faster charging. Sorry - QL was def the first to be good enough - but PD takes the cake 100% Few more notes: 1. Quadlock magnets are meh for accessories such as wallets etc. 2. Quadlock on iPhone ain’t MagSafe charger certified - so you’ll have to use a Qi charger or a cable. 3. After all the added costs (Pro mount , vibration dampener, the better case) - you are at PD prices if not higher.
So I see a ton of people praising quad locks but what I don’t see is people talking about the case for phones itself. How safe do they keep your phone if say you are dumb like me and constantly are dropping the phone face down on concrete? 😅 is it like an otter box case and actually protects the phone relatively well?
OC: How the F are you able to get your drone to track you on a motorcycle? I have tried and tried and it usually drops me after a few hundred feet or less. BTW.....QuadLock saved my phone in a crash that caused me to break my collarbone in 2 places, have 6 broken ribs and the bike was totaled. QL kept that phone alive.
I've had relatively decent luck with our Mavic 3 following. Just dragged the little follow box around me. Only problem is you gotta go pretty slow and of course it's always been while off road.
I lost my phone from an Otter Box on my hip at about 70 and didn't realize it until I got home. I retraced my steps to look for it. FOUND IT without a scratch on it and still carry it in the same Otter Box in the same spot. The video is on my channel. I don't want a mount on my bike. I zone in when I ride, and I can't afford the distraction. If I need my GPS, I will check it periodically like we used to do with maps, BACK IN THE OLD DAYS!
This is pretty sad. This is the first video I've seen on this channel. This guy wants me to trust him regarding my motorcycle, yet he's putting out videos that are nothing more than an *actual commercial* for a corporation's products. Not much better than the commercials on TV for drug companies, fast food restaurants, or insurance providers. People will do anything these days to be a "successful youtuber".
Why the hell would they even sell mounts that will mess up my phone??? If their "standard mount" will hurt my phone, why would they sell it to me? Shouldn't the "vibration dampener" come standard with all their mounts if it's necessary to not damage my $1000+ smartphone?!?!
I use Quadlock on my 2023 401 Vitpilen. That anti vibration mount is awesome. I used a ram mount ball and adapter to the Quadlock. It is great.

They will. Just saw the video for it.
Peak Design for me all the way.
PD is coming with one, once it does, it just might be my new go to....

Quadlock has mag locks now for bikes and motorcycles.

Wireless charge unit with anti vibration mount by quadlock is awesome.
You answered all my questions going to buy one now.
I use the Ram Quickgrip with vibration damper.

Glad to see you are doing better after your fall
*Recorded before the wreck unfortunately. lol
@@chaseontwowheels I hope you are doing better

lol same story here. Once you dip your toe into the eco system and find out they have stuff for everything its hard not to go crazy with it.
Amazing video, man! Just wow, thanks a lot

Due to your recommendation, I bought a quadlock when I started riding a little over a year ago. No regrets at all.
I just got a quad lock, but ram mount is great too.
OC - keep doin good stuff
These are freaking cool. I used a handle bar mounted one from Amazon. It popped off one day on a csnyon run.
OC, love your content!
Love your comment
oc boiiii stay happy s24 ultra with the quad lock absolutly love it
I use the Cayo from Motogadget. It has wireless charging, vibration damping, and is much more compact. It's made in Germany, and the phone case is much nicer.
I use it too, both on my 2 wheel and in 4 wheel rides.
I still need to get the car mount to make my system complete.

OC Crew
We need a insta 360 mount for quad lock
OC window mount, for watching youtube videos in the shower just adhere it to the tile behind the faucet to keep it relatively dry

they make a belt clip too, so can carry your phone when *gasp* not riding
OC Chase!!!
Can you show me how to use a quad lock on a CFMoto 450ss?
Used both Quadlock and rokform. Much prefer rokform personally
Lol typical Yammie Knob comes here, comments hypocritical negativity, then deletes the comment and dips. I think he's mad Chase actually knows how to make good bike reviews.
I was wondering where that comment went.
Yeah I just came back to see if it was still here lol
It would be so great if they're new cases would stop falling apart. The magnetic ring around where it connects to the Mount falls out constantly if you like even sneeze on the phone
Really? I've had a few different cases now and never had that happen.
I’ve had my iPhone 15 Pro case replaced twice

All I can say is I have dropped my phone numerous times on just about every time of surface and never had an issue.
@ thank you!

I don't see a need to have a phone mount, it just goes in my pocket. Though there are a handful of times I might have had use for any phone mount.
Just got a quadlock, but now i need to get an aftermarket handlebar bracket so i can mount the phone in the center.
OC from Denmark
I've been riding with my Galaxy phones on my motorcycles for years and never had a issue. I've never used Quadlock.
Oc mah dude!

OC!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
OC 🙂
The 10 dollar clone on Amazon is just as good and it does not cost 150 dollars
"thumbs up" 👍👍👍

Why? My phone isn't getting destroyed by mounting it in my car. Why would I need a dampener to mount it in a car? Illogical comment.
