Love the video, brought some light to things that I was doing wrong on my own foam Flies. But did I have one quick question as to the epoxy. Do you find that as this brand of epoxy ages doesn't it turn yellow after it gets older?
Adwitt2001 good question. Ive had some flies like this for 3 years now and they haven’t yellowed yet. It is a great epoxy there are some UV protected versions but youll spend some good money and have to buy it in a larger qty. , almost quart size.
Stephen welham I have used them for saltwater species and have caught bowfin with them which all have teeth. A little different than pike of musky but have had success with durability on them in that aspect.
You've really set the bar on these fly lures. I was blown away many years ago when Larry Dahlberg's Floating Minnow and his Diver were featured in one of the fly mags as a sbs. I still have a stack of washed styrofoam meat trays for making the minnow underbodies, lol. On the Gorilla Glue you like, does that have a longer working time? Thanks JK
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can watch all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my brother for the last couple of months xD
Not exactly. He ties his sitting flat like an injured baitfish. He has been using my thin finz lately though and recently did a video. We have been partnering on a few ideas too. Great guy!
I thank your for the video .you did one hell of job on that fly .☝️ 👍😎👍.

How durable are these minnow patterns particularly the tails. Kind regards Steve
Stephen welham the tails are made from a nylon material and are very durable. I havent had one fail yet and have been using them for about 2 yrs.
Thank you for your help regarding adding durability of tail's the reason I asked is I fly fish for pike have you ever used them for like or muskies

Not exactly. He ties his sitting flat like an injured baitfish. He has been using my thin finz lately though and recently did a video. We have been partnering on a few ideas too. Great guy!
