Because of this I actually booked a flight to go back the day after and canceled the rest of my trip because I don’t feel safe in London anymore. Enable ‘Find My iPhone’ on iCloud - If your phone is snatched, you can track, mark as lost or stolen and erase the phone remotely. DO NOT EVER remove you stolen device from your iCloud account. Once you do they can gain access. 3. Have passcodes/FaceID set up for all your apps, everything. You can never be too careful. 4. Use an alphanumeric passcode instead of a 4-digit pin. 5. Have a working backup phone available somewhere safe. This is really helpful should the worst happen. 6. Regularly backup your phone and all your app data, like whatsapp chats, photos etc. 7. Get phone insurance. 8. Set two-factor authentication for all email accounts and any apps that allow you to. When you’re out and about 1. Keep your phone hidden at all times. Do not carry your phone in your hand. 2. I do not recommend wearing headphones while outdoors. You can’t hear people coming up behind you and you advertise that you have a phone on you. You become an instant target. If you have to, make sure they are discreet and allow you to hear the noise of your surroundings. 3. Keep bags tightly wrapped around you. Thieves want to be in and out quickly. Having a bag tightly wrapped creates too much resistance. 4. Before using your phone, look around you to see who’s in your vicinity. Only use phone when safe. 5. Try not to walk too close to the roadside of the pavement. 6. Do not have your phone out on the table in coffee shops etc. These thieves will go in and grab them. They don’t care! It’s free money to them. If your phone is snatched 1. Enable lost mode and erase mode on iCloud ‘Find My’ by logging into to iCloud.com/find. If a passerby is kind enough, ask to use their phone to do this using their internet browser. 2. Report your phone stolen to your network carrier. They can blacklist the IMEI of the phone to put off potential buyers for your phone. 3. If your phone is snatched, keep your eyes on them and see where they go. Try to remember any distinctive features, clothes. Try to remember what roads they go down to make their exit etc. This is very useful to the police. 4. Report the theft to the police. 5. Change your passwords - Consider using a password manager like Dashlane. You should never use the same passwords for everything. 6. Call banks and reset any banking apps. 7. Well, I personally absolutely hate the mobile phone culture that has descended on humanity like a plague from outer space. But everything breeds something else. We now have a subculture of mobile phone thieves, snatching people's mobiles from their hands. This happened yesterday as a friend and I were having lunch at the Artemis café London Road. We didn’t see the snatch, but a girl ran past us screaming. The thief was no longer visible. I felt very sorry for her. Possibly a new student at the local South Bank University. But whilst I feel very sorry for her, at the same time I feel people who walk around texting and paying no attention to what's happening around them are making themselves an easy prey for these criminals. At 5.23 you see a scene exactly like the one we witnessed yesterday.
A pair of dickheads tried to do this to me yesterday, they only managed to get it into the pavement, but it was in their direction, I immediately started acting like a psycho and was throwing my arms and kicking my legs in the air 🤣, picked up my phone and threatened to kill them and used every swear word under the sun to describe them, they both got scared and pissed off immediately on their probably stolen bike 😂 I should add I am female too (though I do lift weights and exercise 2-3 hours a day lol and am 5’8) , I do feel quite proud of myself for not getting scared and not letting them have my phone, I probably wouldn’t recommend doing what I did though as they do apparently often have knives or weapons but it was a reflex and I go absolutely ballistic when angry - I think I possibly have a slight anger issue which helped save my iPhone 11.
I had a vespa 300 same they use at beginning of the video, 1 night 4 teenager criminals riding on the other side of a back road on 2 scooters, in Clapham/Brixton area tried to kick me on the floor and then I assume steal my scooter. I do not know why, might have been my past and instinct I knew was happening avoided the kick and stopped then furios shouted at them to come back if they had boll...ks, they dove away. Never bothered to report. Had scooters stolen 3 times in London, now forced to movet to geared big bikes. Police do not give a shit, many times called them and handed scooter thieves on a silver plate, but they did nothing about, and almost had a go at me.
That is such a movie cliché thing to say, doesn’t happen in the real world. Sadly we need to wait for enlightenment and intelligence to manifest in these scum bags
If anyone wants to visit the UK, then avoid London at all costs! It's an absolute sh**hole, and you WILL get ripped off by everyone! Taxis, pubs, restaurants, hotels, shops, will ALL be looking to empty your wallet asap, that's if you can keep it from being nicked by a pickpocket in the street!! Head north instead, away from the south of England, you'll meet a much nicer, friendlier kind of Brit! 😁 (I know what I'm talking about, I'm Scottish! 🤣)
Yeah, pretty scummy as Libby says. Someone snatched my phone on a bike 48 hours ago. I caught them in a VERY dynamic way and landed on him. I have some injuries - but I suspect he could have at least as many. Bad man. Got my phone back k which is very rare.

Fit all traffic police vehicles with "nudge bars" like in the USA. Give them a chance to stop and if they don't, knock them off. If you drive over them and they die, valet the car and get it out on the streets again.
I would LOVE to run my own unit (Team) against these punks in London ! Believe me they would get theirs! The only catch is that the Government do their part , which is lock them up for GOOD!
If i was the reporter i would have secretly called armed police and got them all arrested, these theives are probably still operating due to low funding by the government in the policing sytem. There needs to be more police on motorbikes and stricter laws.
When Billionaires move out of London due to crime and property costs, it's like the Captain and the officer class leaving the ship... Eventually, the ship will sink!
I'm really surprised that still today there's not a way to prevent the phone from being put into airplane mode or turned off without finger print or password
There is! You can lock the simcard! Unfortunately the phone is now useless without that simcard, You cant sell it or give it to a friend, Screen lock, Phone can be located using another phone or computer,But police need a search warrant to enter
This is why i don't flash my phone when out and about quick look put it away in my pocket that is zipped up. Friends think i'm pandantic but i'm looking out for myself doing what i can to not be a victim.

Your stealing a phone worth £1250 each just to get paid £500 for three and the dealer sells it for twice which im sure still wont come up to the original price. Thats very stupid when it could be done in anther way ...shows the iq of these type of ppl. At the end the big companies win because most ppl have these phones on contract not pay out right ...so again the 1% wins..the ppl making excuses for these criminals..wait until it happens to you and see how you feel.
Had a similar crazy moment during my tourist days - it was December 1st, around 8 PM. Walking down Southwark Bridge Rd toward Park St, and bam! Out of the blue, some dude in gloves snatched my phone right out of my hand. I managed to shake him off, turned around, and what do I see? A masked guy on a bike with his partner-in-crime on another bike. The phone's on the other side now, so these bike bandits pull a quick reverse and pedal off towards the bridge. Wild, right? 🚴♂️
I would like to thank the black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature makes them ideal neighbours, lending testimony to their family values and parenting skills. Their child-rearing practices and skills mixed with their unparalleled work ethic are second to none. Their rationale and logical thought toward circumstances coupled with their innate capability to de-escalate situations is to be envied. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are driven by the mix of Africans & Jamaicans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, their hard work and a self-reliant nature.

Great story did you see it on Eastenders?
I fwel bad for the delivery guys

Bet it wouldn't be like that if the shop owners had firearms
If only

They always get away... until they don't. That "don't" means jail or prison or shot dead, and is not worth 1000 getaways.
Americans watch this, we don't all drink tea and listen to the opera
No some of us listen to the opera and then drink tea!
Imagine that guy Larbi doing the job of at least 10 PAID police officers
the cops should just ram them off the road
In this game his time will come, when the bigger thug takes his takings!
#Karma
That is such a movie cliché thing to say, doesn’t happen in the real world. Sadly we need to wait for enlightenment and intelligence to manifest in these scum bags
Police not do nothing about this
If anyone wants to visit the UK, then avoid London at all costs!
(I know what I'm talking about, I'm Scottish! 🤣)
'if you cant get a job...' stealing bikes from pizza deliveries making nothing per hour...
They need to step up..
get and organized group and hunt the bad..
Yeah, pretty scummy as Libby says. Someone snatched my phone on a bike 48 hours ago. I caught them in a VERY dynamic way and landed on him. I have some injuries - but I suspect he could have at least as many. Bad man. Got my phone back k which is very rare.
Haha absolute legend, well done! I got mine jacked this week by some lads with knifes who surrounded me, wasn't so lucky getting you won't be surprised to hear 😂😂
Meanwhile in America: *thief gets shot my every single ped*
Fit all traffic police vehicles with "nudge bars" like in the USA. Give them a chance to stop and if they don't, knock them off. If you drive over them and they die, valet the car and get it out on the streets again.
IIRC, not long after this documentary was released, the UK implemented new enforcement rules for police to allow ramming moped thieves with cars.
Should be stopped before innocent victims get hurt.
Mothers the type of men we are raising.......we are really failing....
Yh u really have 💀💀💀
Your kids need fathers. Find the right ones and treat them fairly.
Their parents think they’re in the library...
Are we supposed to believe that criminals will invite a lady in to their house to interview them
All these years I've been working when i should have been a scumbag? I don't believe the grass is greener on the other side!
He has a moped why can't he do deliveroo simple because they don't want to graft they just want easy cash and thats there way of doing it
The moped is stolen, they don’t own it
I would LOVE to run my own unit (Team) against these punks in London !
Believe me they would get theirs!
The only catch is that the Government do their part , which is lock them up for GOOD!
If i was the reporter i would have secretly called armed police and got them all arrested, these theives are probably still operating due to low funding by the government in the policing sytem. There needs to be more police on motorbikes and stricter laws.
every 1 a foreigner,, I wonder if the local council will give em a flat each while there waiting for there shit mopeds back!!
Cars should just ram them, screw it
When Billionaires move out of London due to crime and property costs, it's like the Captain and the officer class leaving the ship... Eventually, the ship will sink!
I'm really surprised that still today there's not a way to prevent the phone from being put into airplane mode or turned off without finger print or password
My old Samsung Galaxy A5 forced you to unlock it to shut it down. My current iPhone SE doesn’t do that though unfortunately.
@@gamerboi-ag132 Samsung yes isn't iphone the same. Iphone is rubbish
Friends think i'm pandantic but i'm looking out for myself doing what i can to not be a victim.
pandantic? What the hell were you trying to say?

Motorcycle theft is such a difficult crime to police. The frame number on all production bikes is easily grinded off and replaced with a new one.
Now Police have changed their rules of contact with getaway vehicles.
How? Please kindly explain
28:41 man didnt really know that those jewels on the window are fake not the really ones. At least, here in Argentina its how thousands of jewelry stores has been saving their asses

How Smart
Its uk tho
Brilliant he is right be focused on every thing
Well l had my phone stolen to my shock people actually seem to do this as a business. I will never have my phone out again in London ...sad to say its being the ghetto everywhere.
He could try crowd funding
Why is this in 480 p if it's 3 years ago
Not the official channel.

The police can’t do anything then why do they have a job or the mayor is protecting them with his policy’s

Bring back public floggings - 50 lashes with a whip - plus a stiff prison sentence, and see what that does for the crime wave.

The reason they do it is your crap laws in your country 🙄.

Wait... YOOOO WTH
When?
His saving life's people should not walk around with they're phones 🤣🤣🤣

Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.
We all come from Adam and Eve and we shouldn’t harm each other we should help each other. A concept thieves don’t grass. Thieves are sad and lonely bastards.
I got robbed two days ago in Manchester.😓We need more CCTV.
What's CCTV gonna do? We have enough as it is
As terrible as it is documentaries like these and criminals talking to journalists helps us to know what to do and exposes the criminals ways. Stay safe, don’t let your guard down!
Poor delivery drivers

And I thought that Britain (England in particular) is better than America
Same but I guess not
There’s crime in every country
I think it still is? Except I'm Paranoid and not blissfully unaware of my surroundings, I choose the time i leave not to early or to late and if a area has just one person loitering l turn around
But the British police could stop this but they truly don’t want to,if the police won’t help us we have to take our own crime prevention, using similar,Acton’s WITHOUT ANY ACID OR Alkaline
