tutorial on how you can make 90's style rnb samples with your own voice. enjoy! link to the sample - drive.google.c... twitter - @prodbyloner IG - @prodbyloner
Don't know if you did this or not but when you reverse a section like 4 bars...cut that section into 4 SEPERATE bars after you reversed it...take the last bar and drag it to the first and so on...the third to the second the second to third and the first to last...that way the melody stays with a reversed effect, however, is perfectly still in key with the other melodies 💎
Bro. U can make it easier just flipping the midi crtl+y then consolidate to audio and then reverse it. Keep the same order just the notes sound backwards and you dont have to chop em up. this way is useful when you want to keep the rootnote to add your bass or 808 or just keep the same order of the progresion for subjective choice.
Bruuuuuuuuh you actually helped me so damn much which this and your Eli Sostres video. You have no idea! You just cured my 5 year writers block and I'm getting back into music after watching your videos. Thanks so much man!
they are not hiding if you just be creative and actualy study the effects and mixin tools you can deconstruct whatever you hear. but people want the button that does it all and the people that actualy put in the time are not gonna hand it over that easy. so respect the procces and just put in work and you wil figure it out i can guarantee that
"you dont need to be able to sing to do this" is easy to say when you're gonna drench the shit in autotune & reverb & that's what you're going for that's cool but that only works for 1 kind of sound & not a 90s sound
@@prodbyloner In addition..those effects were not used for R'n'B in the 90s. They first appeared in 98 in Pop and dance music. "Believe" by Cher and "Blue" by Eiffel 65 were the first hit singles that used autotune.
