    Did that hike solo yesterday 12/12/20. Its tough. Don't recommend solo though

    Great Job!! super views throughout the video, really beautiful when you are on the trail and we see all those mtns around you. love the gps stuff the link is great to be able to check out too. That looks really tough, you should be more than ready for Whitney i think. Comedy, turns out i'll be on the mtn same day as Tuba Solo!

    Awesome video, some friends and I tried to make it to Cucamonga Peak yesterday but only made it to Kelly. It was our first attempt at trying to reach a summit so I think we did pretty well. Stayed overnight at Kelly and there was water there. My pack weighed 27 pounds. Next time im going to find a way to make it lighter.

      Late October. Hoping for a late snow year.

      I went last year late October due to the early snow I had to turn around at the bottom of the 99 switch backs. but I was lucky the year before to get a permit in early September and I was able to make the summit.

      I take my GPS track and switch it over to Google Earth. Maybe one Day I can do a video of it.

    Nice! Congrats. What time did you guys leave in the morning, or how long was the trip in total time?

      By the time we hit the trail it was almost 8 AM and got back about 8:30 PM. We took our time going up and made a few stops, and really enjoyed our time at the summit.

      We Just did the hike cucamonga peak 8/29/2020 nice workout( sore )😅🤣😆 thank you your video help us a lot.

      Most spots are just a few feet wide.

      I don't remember. We took our time and relaxed at the summit before heading back down. Make a day of it and enjoy the trail.

    Do you simply follow a trail to the top or is it difficult to navigate?

      Yep there is trail the whole way. It's a pretty popular trail so you should be able to find the route no problem.

      This was a few years ago, but all i remember is we started early and took our time which made it an all day trip.

    Do you have a hiking club for others to join? I want to explore this area being I live in Rancho Cucamonga. I hear there is a world war 2 Japanese camp in the area. Do you know about this?
