4:36 sounds like old beko
One of those crappy 3 phases. Now today lg is the best washing machine brand ever!
@@taufiq6573 I meant their top loaders, they clean the best out of any machine I've owned - personally I'd say the early 2000s models were the pinnacle of Fisher and Paykel washers
That's not a 3 phase induction motor and it's actually an brushless DC motor, which is called an inverter motor because it has an inverter that converts AC to DC, because induction motors cannot operate higher than 3600rpm, but besides that motor like brushless DC motors, and universal motors can operate at an extremely higher speed, which can be even 17000rpm, so no, it not a 3 phase induction motor, it's actually a brushless DC motor connected to the drum with belt drive, at least in this LG model, and most inverter motor machines use belt drive except the 2 brand which are Samsung and LG.
Very Nice!!
Because it’s old model that’s why it is noisy we have old washer too 10y/o maybe, and it sounds the same, but now i called for service and they changed the bearing as it is the causes the loud noise according to the service provider
How do you test te spin of that washing can you show i have one
Wow it's stop's louder than my grandma's LG
sounds like V12 More than V10
Its an old model from 2003-2005 (WD-13150FB/13155FB) very common in Western Europe (but most lower RPM variants, 90150FB and 11150FB). Its not a Direct Drive, but it is an inverter. Motor is brushless DC (BLDC motor).
They are silent, the motor sounds like a Direct Drive with the addition of the friction noise of the belt/pulley. In the video its very noisy because it has broken bearings.
Also are variants of those models for Eastern European countries but with a traditional brushed motor (those models ends in "SUP", "TUP" or "NUP" instead of FB).
Super video 👍
How do you is the best washing machine brand
i like it
My grandma's LG stop's kinda loud but kinda soft.I would say it's ok
LG is the best washing machine that brand ever
And what kind of model?
that motor seems to look a fair bit like a Fisher and Paykel smart drive. now i wonder if it's the same concept idea?
Actually that's not an induction motor, it's a brushless DC motor which is very strong, if it was induction motor, then it would be able to run at 17000rpm.
What does anticrease mean
LG Intellowasher.
wait a minute. I thought direct drive motor has no pulleys
MY LIFE WAS A LIE
Cool Blox Gaming this had been a "last" LG washer before direct drive went popular between early 2000s. This was made from 1998 - 2003 I think, because even direct drive was introduced in 1998, it was still not common
@@huuhoangmanh685 It isn't really like that, because LG made classic brushed belt-drive machines parallel with Direct Drive ones. My aunt had a LG Intellowasher washing machine from 2007 and it had the classic brushed motor (now she currently has a Whirlpool FreshCare+).
It sounds like an r t
What happened to direct drive
This is conventional not direct drive
Dont burn the motor
The motor doesn't burn, you thought it's brushed, it's actually 3 phase induction motor.
My grandma has one but not this loud
That is lg convincel
It’s has a brush moter on it
Belt!
more noisy that a direct drive model
because the reason why?
Direct drive means the motor is plugged into the drum
If its not direct drive the drum is connected to a motor with a pulley and THAT makes it more noisy.
Old washer
It supposed to be direct drive. Not belt drive

DANGER: electricity can result in elections shook
To prevent elections shook disconnect power supply before attempt any servicing any parts
@@bearcatwilliamscully5450 Well, it doesn't have electric shock, the only reason why washing machine have an electric shock inside the drum because it's grounded.
