That's not a 3 phase induction motor and it's actually an brushless DC motor, which is called an inverter motor because it has an inverter that converts AC to DC, because induction motors cannot operate higher than 3600rpm, but besides that motor like brushless DC motors, and universal motors can operate at an extremely higher speed, which can be even 17000rpm, so no, it not a 3 phase induction motor, it's actually a brushless DC motor connected to the drum with belt drive, at least in this LG model, and most inverter motor machines use belt drive except the 2 brand which are Samsung and LG.

In the video its very noisy because it has broken bearings. Also are variants of those models for Eastern European countries but with a traditional brushed motor (those models ends in "SUP", "TUP" or "NUP" instead of FB).

because the reason why? Direct drive means the motor is plugged into the drum If its not direct drive the drum is connected to a motor with a pulley and THAT makes it more noisy.
