- We finally got moving again after 2 months in Ohio! We are heading to New York State to take in the sites and we have a large renovation job in the next couple weeks. Our first stop is Watkins Glen State Park! we are also starting a project that involves finding local fresh and Natural meats, veggies, and fruits to start taking better care of ourselves, and know where the food were putting in our bodies comes from.

You in my area!!! It's beautiful!
It really is beautiful!
@@livingsmalldreamingbig I am glad you enjoyed it!!
@@brittwoodhouse2339 you have a beautiful home state!
Guys, I want to tell you how refreshing it is to see full-timers exploring in the east! There’s so much to see around here! If you’re still in the area, check out Lucifer Falls at Robert Treman State Park!
We will add it to the list!
I agree that it’s awesome to see someone exploring in an area that I can visit before I retire. Most channels race through this part of the country in their way to a “more interesting” destination out west. I live in Southern Ohio and had no idea Watkins Glenn was anything other than a NASCAR track - definitely adding it to my list of future destinations.
The whole area is beautiful! We are originally from north east Ohio so we have traveled into New York and Pennsylvania for camping a lot!
@@StephSH I agree! Hard to find quality videos on places obtainable for us easterners!
How was the drive up to the camping loops? The driveway from the south parking lot looked intense. Would you pull a 41 foot fifth wheel up there? I thought it was cute that both Keira and Audrey made a comment about Disney world when walking down the spiral tunnel stairs. I think the best way to do this hike is from the top down. That way when you come out at those falls from behind it is like the grand finale to an amazing hike. When you start from the bottom up you are seeing the best first and it is kind of less dramatic from there.
It was steep but there was plenty of larger RVs parked so it’s doable. I definitely agree top down was fantastic!
Hey! Where’ve you gone?? Missing your travels
We have been focused on other things since losing Lindsay’s dad this year. I’m hoping to start posting again soon.
Wow captured Watkins beautifully! Magical place. Hope to see more of your content.
That park looks AMAZING! Will be adding that one to our list. Loved all of the dramatic B roll. Its easy get lost filming all the great scenery in a setting like that.
Finally not just Niagara Falls..
we live Canandaigua NY affectionally called baby finger lake. We never missed a summer going to Watkins glen But seeing thru your lens makes me so proud of “the other NY” check out letchworth state park it’s called the Grand Canyon of the east. The Adirondack mountains, st Lawrence seaway shall I go on! There is so much of NY not just the city. Look forward to next week
New York State is Beautiful! We don’t have a lot of time here but we are making the most of it! We will definitely be spending more time exploring here in the future!
Come back here in the fall ! It goes from green in the summer to spectacular orange and yellow. Not as crowded either. Great video and lovely family❣️
STUNNING!!! I’m from Canada and planning a trip there the end of this month. What camera/GoPro did you use to capture that beauty?

We’re hoping to be posting more again soon!

I’m totally with you on buying directly from farmers. Harvest Hosts are a GREAT resource on the road. 😉
Yes! We love Harvest Hosts!
Love the park. Thanks for the video. Are there any hookups at the park?
Some sites do have electric but they have multiple dump stations and water spigots.
@@livingsmalldreamingbig thanks I will have to look it up on line.
