You have definitely have had some residencies under your belt. You mix like your in the club. Not the bedroom. With FX you remember less is more and your three steps ahead. Kudos I’ve held down a few residencies 4 years ago. I’m watching you spin and calling out the things you do before you do them. I’m jaded and rarely like watching any DJ spin. You are a pleasure to watch. Thank you. I love how your smart enough not to touch the tempo till a breakdown. Perfectionist DJ’s!
DJFITME I don’t subscribe to much of anything, but I subscribed to you. I’ll get to that video eventually. I was juggling 3 residencies and a full time job while dealing with shady promoters and druggies. I had to get out. Was thinking of doing what your doing cause all I ever wanted to do was to connect with people with music and make them dance. I feel from your work you feel the same about the music. Look forward to checking your videos out. Thanks again :)
Nice mix!! I just picked up a a set of pioneer and have had no issues with pitch or beat match on long mixes, it honestly feels just like my 1200s. It’s concerning when I read people comment on this but I yet to see it.
@@DJFITME Cheers for a fast reply ! I just scored a set of 1000s , so I'm browsing and doing homework on which needles sound good for basic trance mixing . And now I'm hanging around listening to your entire mix! Love it!
@@DJFITME hi mate, ive got the mk2’s and was wondering what weight you’d recommend ? I mix strictly old skool hardcore from early 90’s and was wondering if the scratch mk2 cart is good for mixing and not just scratching ? Any feedback would be much appreciated 👍🏼 cheers mate
Do you have any problems with the Pioneer Plx-1000's not keeping tempo consistent? One youtube reviewer said you can get the pitch set, take your hand off the record and have the pitch change when you just had it set.
hey bro! Great mix :) have u got any tips for mixing trance? general tips etc that you learned over time. like whens best to start mixing the songs, how to structure a set. Anything would be great.... cheers and keep up the good work :)
+DJFITME thanks mate :) I'll keep at it!! what's your opinion on these turntables? thinking of getting them they look sexy! torn between these and technics
What are these plx1000s like for mixing? Ive seen a video where some guy says they are terrible and dont go near them . Are they a struggle? Can you do long mixes on them without them going out of mix ? You seem to be doing really well with them .
I dont have them anymore as i moved to XDJ-XZ. But i never had problems with PLX players was easy to mix didnt feel any struggle keep them in mix. They have new model now but they are super expensive.
I used technics before these and it feels the same. I feel these has more torque than technics and that pitch fader is more easy to adjust and no center click what is good (imo i hate center clicks)
@@its_all_downhill_from_here i know there was comments before my reply about plx but they have removed them thats why my comment doesnt show name i reply to Like now you see your name on this reply
Impressive ! Managing to keep two PLX1000's in time with each other, with their shitty digital pitch system is no mean feat. No wonder you had to constantly ride the pitch faders, as they are not accurate like original technics pitch, well done !
I completely agree with you ! Ive got the 1000’s too and they are a nightmare to get the pitch bang on without having to ride it. Even when you’ve got beats bang on, when you cue it up and chuck it in the mix, it seems to run off beat. These are really challenging decks to mix on but very rewarding as they’re so hard to get bang on.

Hey playing vinyl only also... how is the beat detection from the rmx 1000 working? Thinking of getting one

I buy one but I wonder if the pitch control is stable what do you think about this? Because I feel like you also fight with this
It feels same as technics. Only difference is that this pioneer has more torque than technics
Thank you in fact I wait my xone px5 to be able to use The plx 1000 but I like it already
Again great mix
How do you set mixer to play real vinyl
Just like any other mixer. Connect turntable to phono & Ground wire and select with top switch phono input

So it’s true. Pioneer turntables are horrible for mixing. I can tell from you constantly fidgeting with the pitch fader.
peguei no sono,,deixar uma track prolongar,,e sinal de amador.....
Great mix mate. I really want to buy a set of PLX1000 but I’m worried it won’t be same as 1210s I heard a few negative reviews anyone here have them ?
