In case you missed it when it aired this Sunday, or you're not in the Springfield Missouri area, we will be posting full episodes the Tuesday after they air.
The Ozark Music Shoppe is a show hosted by three brothers, John, Jeremy & Jason Chapman from the award-winning Bluegrass group, The Chapmans, who now own a music store in Springfield, MO. Weekly, acoustic music acts stop by and visit with the Chapman brothers and play a few tunes. The show also features interviews, tips, and a behind the scene look into the music business.
Unlike many newer bluegrass bands, RV&R always LOOKS like they want to be there, always present as PROs, always entertainers and entertaining.
I love Rhonda.
Always a great performance by Rhonda and the Rage. She surrounds herself with fabulous musicians most notably Josh Williams on Guitar who is always a cut above the rest. IMO, he is the finest bluegrass guitar player around. His tasteful solos are perfect, amazing and so melodic.
They are all fantastic! Mickey is a super solid bassist!

Great show! Very entertaining and what a treat to see and hear my favorite Bluegrass band, Rhonda V. & The Rage. I'll be sure to stop in at the store when I'm in the area.
Rhonda is awesome and ain't that hard to look at either ;)
I remember these boys from the Stringbean festival years ago! I had the pleasure of introducing them on their early day show! I was a mc there!

They are the best
I love how he was telling her the words during Hunter’s break 😂😂
Buy the way I'm from canton texas
If it hadn't been for those pesky Petersens, luring me down this bluegrass rabbit hole, I wouldn't be sitting here grinning now. Bluegrass reaches parts of me I didn't know I had!
When I started learning the guitar properly a few years ago I dreamed of sounding like Dave Gilmour and Mark Knopfler... on a very good day, for a very short amount of time, and only in my wildest dreams, obviously. But now I spend my practice time crosspicking and wondering if I can teach the dog to play a double bass. My money's on the dog getting up to speed before I do. :-)
Thanks for the music and smiles everyone.
I really think that I want to see that Dog. That must be one of the more talented Dogs in The World ! ; D
NO CRYING
When was this recorded?
Guy’s do you remember the name of the SPBGMA promoter in the early 80’s? I for some reason think his name was Chuck something...
It was Chuck Stearman, his family still runs it.
Wonderful, I have been trying to remember his name for the longest... Enjoyed the show!! I am originally from Newton,Ia. But now live in Toronto and don’t get a lot picking done... I am hoping to get to your store this summer!! On my bucket list. Have a wonderful week...
