Not necessarily, if some of them are sisters you might have fewer mothers-in-law. Somehow some of the wives being sisters seems plausible in a culture or religion that favors polygamy. In some even some of their mothers might not be the husband's mother-in-law but just his mother!

One husband can easily generate enough work for five or six wives. The wives could take turns babysitting the husband, and they would be able to have a free night now and then.
In modern western culture it’s becoming increasingly harder each year. To find one spouse worth marrying long term let along multiple of them. Mostly due to marriage laws and dating culture. Considering the amount of people these days who cheat and/or divorce among other factors.
You can't even hold a door open for a lot of women these days without them getting their undies in a wad crying sexist, or some other BS!! I honestly can't blame a lot of men these days for not even trying.
@@CommodoreFan64seems like the ones who are more likely to be long term material. are either very religious and/or have traditional relationship values. however that number decreases each year as more turn to modern ideals.

BTW, Utah recently decriminalized polygamy; it is no longer a felony, just a misdemeanor.
