Billy Madison
Mr Deeds
Anger Management
The Waterboy
You have to watch "Billy Madison" next.
His best movie after Happy Gilmore.
"I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!"
"You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?"
"...No!"
This has to be one of the most iconic exchange of words in comedy history...the delivery is perfect
Just reading the line gets me laughing 😂😂
My brother and I still quote that. As well as many others, “mista mista!”, “you too good for your home?”, “the price is wrong bitch”, “jackass!(said the same way he says it)”
😂
"I eat pieces of shit like you "...is the smartest line in a low-brow comedy ever. Come at me Farrelly brothers.
I met someone who actually used this type of rhetoric to try to win debates, and I couldn't help but laugh and dismiss them immediately.
I even told them, "You're literally trying to make serious arguments using the same mentality that Adam Sandler used for jokes in the 90's." 🤦♂️ Funny stuff.
Literally the best Adam Sandler movie alongside Billy Madison.
I keep quoting
“Are you too good for your home? Answer me ball!”
The big dude is famous for playing the character Jaws in the James Bond movies The Spy Who Loved Me, and Moonraker. Richard Kiel.
I love the cameos from Ben Stiller and Richard Kiel.
Very classic Adam Sandler movie ! Billy Madison is also a fantastic movie 😂 looking forward to more reactions!
I kinda love that Hal just gets away at the end. Such a random part of the movie with no resolution. He probably continued abusing Old people forever.
There a deleted scene where he gets thrown out the window by Adam Sandler and the old people are freed and Hal also pops back up in hubie Halloween.
@@jackmarshall3255 I knew about the Hubie Halloween cameo. You would think that deleted scene would make it into the movie.
@@Hockeyhobo89 yeah I kind of wish they would of kept that scene where he throws him out the window it would of shown what happened to him.
@@jackmarshall3255 I think I've seen a version of the movie with that scene included. Some kind of special edition on TV, I don't recall.
@@peterseaboldt1250 yeah same for some reason I remember it on tv and later on I would watch the actual film and not being able to find that scene in the move so I look it up and found out it’s a deleted scene.
Shooter McGavin is one of the greatest characters ever created. Telling Happy that he's dedicating his Tournament performance to Chubbs' memory is probably the greatest competitive burn of all time. "Nuh-ah! I called it first!" hahhahaaa
My favorite Happy quote: Gold jacket, green jacket.....who gives a shit!
“You can trouble me for a warm glass of SHUT THE HELL UP🤨” 😂😂
“YOURE GONNA DIE, CLOWN!” Is my favorite line in the film. Also you have to react to Billy Madison which came out before this film but I love both films equally
Click is such a great Sandler film you should watch.
Happy's old coach is played by a very famous Bond villain, Jaws. My uncle Bob was unfortunate enough to gain that nickname in highschool because of his height and distinguished jawline.
Adam Sandler vs. Bob Barker is still the funniest flight I've ever seen
Barker is still alive and is currently 99-years-old.
@@Phatooineyeah...about that...😭😭😭
@@crazyman7671 I know!!! 😒
"for chuubbssss!!!" lol you funny man
You ever seen Billy Madison. I think that was the first movie were Adam Sandler star in, then he did Happy Gilmore. And his movie company is call Happy Madison, named after his first 2 movies
Yes billy madison was his first just after he was fired from snl
His first ever starring role was Going Overboard
@@joshhanson6538 i meant after he was fired from snl
Growing up I would always cackle at "The price is wrong, Bob!", which was the cable tv version of the line. 😂 It was one of the first times that I recognized a guest appearance in a movie and got a reference like that.
The big tall guy was Richard Kiel who became famous playing the Henchman Jaws from James Bond The Spy Who Loved Me/Moonraker. Dude was my favourite Bond Henchman growing up. And with that said you should check out the older Bond films.
When I was a kid and would go golfing, not only did I do the Happy Gilmore swing, but when id put id also say "Grandma...grandma...grandma..." 😂
Carl Weathers hasn't aged a day. Man looks like he could stroll off this set and play Greef Karga the next day.
“Happy Gilmore accomplished that feat no more than an hour ago…”
No way you haven't seen this before lol this was a immediate classic lol my dad took me to theatres when it came out I was really young but I remember the scene where he needs the ball to "go Fukn home" and the bleeps in the background kept me laughing till it hurt
Shooter is an all time villain
Great movie. Other great comedies like this are Adam Sandler Billy Madison, The Wedding Sing and 50 dates. also Ben Steller There Somthing about Mary.
24:33 I can’t stop laughing at this part: the clown
One of my favorite moments that still makes me laugh out loud...
Putt goes in...
"It's about time"
"Yeah it is about time. I mean I just couldn't get the ball in the hole. I wanted to but I just couldn't do it."
SMACK
The Adam Sandler/Bob Barker fight scene is both hilarious and legendary!
Bro, when Bob woke up after being knocked out like he was a fucking demon made me die laughing lol, perfect delivery
"maybe he needs to go be a singer"
The Wedding Singer has entered chat
The large guy with the nail in his head played a character in one of the old James Bond movie and the character name is Jaws
Bob Barker only agreed to do the fight scene on the condition that he won lol
Happy's window-washing caddy was played by Allen Covert, one of Sandler's friends he gets to do a lot of these movies with him. He was Alex in Grandma's Boy
The "Big Dude" Is Richard Kiel, Who Is Best Known For Playing The Henchman Jaws In Two James Bond Movies, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, And MOONRAKER!!
hell yeah, i hope this starts an Adam Sandler rabbit hole of reactions
For sure!
Check out these Adam Sandler movies, Mr Deeds, The Longest Yard, The Waterboy, Little Nicky, Big Daddy.
Mr deeds is another movie from Adam Sandler in this era. Also really good.
You have to watch "Billy Madison" next.
His best movie after Happy Gilmore.
Chubb's death was both sad and hilarious at the same time 😂😂😂😂😢😢😢😢
The big dude, Mr. Larson, played the henchman, Jaws, in the older James Bond 007 movies!
That's Ben Stiller, the abusive nursing home attendant
That was a fun one!
If you're in a 90s comedies trip, American Pie's a good one too!
Haha, I like how invested you are in this movie! The actor who played as Shooter McGavin also appears in a parody movie called, "Superhero Movie". He's so funny in that movie as well as the actors in that movie too. Great reaction, Primate! There are so many great Adam Sandler stuff along with his friends like Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Kevin James, and so much more. I haven't checked out his most recent ones, but I know the guy keeps'em coming! One great Adam Sandler movie that I like is 'Click'. You should also give a shot with 'The Longest Yard', '50 First Dates', 'Little Nicky', 'Waterboy', 'Big Daddy', and so much more to even name them here!
Happy Gilmor is The Wrecker of this universe XD
R.I.P Bob Barker, was awesome stayed with Bob Barker in the hospital wearing that hockey jersey from the movie.
Bob Barker was still alive 2 months ago, he just died today.
"Now you will go to sleep, or I will put you to sleep" my fav quote!
I still mutter "go back to your shanties" on almost a daily basis.
Christopher McDonald plays such a great villain, between this, Flubber, and The Iron Giant, some of my favorite childhood movies.
Also, idk if anyone mentioned this, but apparently Bob Barker only agreed to this role if he got to win the fight.
I saw him on the House Bunny and Lemonade Mouth.
Thanks for reacting to this one! It's one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies! ⛳⛳🏌️🏌️😂😆👍
The longest yard is really good if you haven’t seen it
The big guy, Mr. Larsen was played by the late Richard Kiel, who played Jaws opposite many Bond actors in the movies and even against Pierce Brosnan in the PS2 Everything or Nothing.
The late great Bob Barker has said numerous times in his life that Happy Gilmore was one of his most favorite things he's ever done. He was initially just going to be told he would lose the fight with Adam Sandler, but he told the Producers he knew how to fight and was trained. When he told them who trained him when asked, he simply said two words; Chuck Norris. Once Bob said that, they immediately redid the script and Adam was reluctant but once HE learned that Chuck taught Barker, he was immediately on board.
his movies are really memed on, but are genuinely great, waterboy is another classic of his
I probably watch this movie 4 times a year, definitely my chill movie
This and 'Fifty First Dates' are probably the best Gilmore movies, great reaction. The guy who plays his homeless caddy (he's in a bunch of his movies), Alan Covert, went on to write and star in one of my most favorite comedies 'Grandma's Boy' definitely worth a check
Sorry about the golf mentor but hey at least he and the alligator are getting along in the afterlife.
So there’s that.
@4:49 That actor is Robert Smigel - Triumph The Insult Comic Dog.
Everyone: can’t wait to watch him react to this movie.
Me: Oh he doesn’t know the Legend Bob Barker’s got them hands.
Bob Barker was actually trained by Chuck Norris, no joke.
I think the movie Big Daddy is one of my favorites, i may be wrong with the name. Basically Adam raises a kid and his parenting skills is rather "unique." There was another movie that also involves parenting called That's My Boy which is kind of the more ridiculous Adam Sandler movies but it also has some good moments.
You're correct about the name "big daddy" Its also one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies of all time. Very heartwarming as well.
Ben Stiller is uncredited in this movie. Madness!
Nobody ever mentions Bulletproof, where he co-stars with Damon Wayans. It's one of his best.
This is one of the decent Adam Sandler comedies along with others like The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates.
Not to be confused with his Crimes Against Humanity comedies... like Little Nicky or I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.
Most fall somewhere in between, though.
Love this movie so much. When i was a kid/teen i used to watch it every time it was on cable.
Shooter is an absolute legend.
In the early 80's my best bud and I started to play golf on our own while still in high school, self-taught. People would say that golfing was boring. We would tell them to go with us, not boring. LOL I was probably the worse avid golfer in the world, so bad that I could slice the ball behind me. But I loved to play. If this movie came out before the 80's we would definitely would have tried hitting the ball like that.
I use Happy’s apology to Chubbs all the time.
My favorite Sandler movies are this and The Wedding Singer with 50 First Dates close behind.
'I recognize that actor.'
Ben Stiller is silently weeping somewhere.
😅
holy shit, this is one of those movies where every line has been stuck in my head since I saw it as a kid. classic and quotable.
I LOVE the Shooter McGavin character! Shooter McGavin is my bowling name, fantasy football/hockey team name, etc. I think he is absolutely hilarious.
My man reacts to movies for a living
... that's Ben Stiller in the nursing home 😂
Must watch WEDDING SINGER, BIG DADDY, MR. DEEDS , & CLICK!! So many more but definitely those 😎
He was a singer in the movie The Wedding Singer
Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin) plays a pretty believable scumbag in Thelma and Louise (1991), too. I wonder if he got this part based on the a-hole he was in T&L, which is a really good movie.
Some notes about the film. I will say before getting into that I was a little younger than you were Primate when I saw this in theaters in 1996.
It was filmed in Vancouver, BC. Even though they pretended to play all over the country, it was all shot at the same golf course. The mountain backdrop was always the same no matter where they were pretending to be.
Dennis Dugan, who played Doug Thompson, the commissioner of the golf league was also the director of the film. The film didn't have the rights of the PGA, so terms like the green jacket that you win at the Masters was replaced by the gold jacket at the tour championship.
Ben Stiller (uncredited), the guy you recognized, but couldn't put a finger on it played director of the nursing home Happy's grandma was at.
Julie Bowen, who played Happy's love interest and public relations director was also played Clare for 11 seasons in Modern Family.
Frances Bay, who played Happy's grandmother passed away in 2011 at the age of 92.
Richard Kiel, the "big dude" (was 7 foot tall) who played Mr. Larson (Happy's former boss) died in 2014 at the age of 74.
11:20 my most favorite scene in the movie
Classic, was just talking about this movie with a coworker yesterday!
This movie is so funny and so nostalgic. By far one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies out of many. He is such a talented actor. I love him a lot ❤ Great reaction brother. 🙌🏼
Cant Hardly wait is a great underrated teen comedy
Ben Stiller is the orderly 😂
Good for happy Gil oh my God. The most hilarious line delivery ever. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
bro i hope this is the start of old Adam sandler flicks! waterboy, billy madison, big daddy, mr deeds, 50 first dates, etc!
You gotta do the longest yard such a fun movie! Hard to pick with adams catalog but I feel like this is similar to what you just watched or waterboy
More Sandler. ALWAYS MORE SANDLER !!!! Love you primate
Bob barker was actually trained in karate by chuck Norris in the 70s
I met Christopher McDonald, who plays Scooter McGavin, once and he was a super nice guy. He still to this day will sometimes sign autographs with the message "I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast" LOL
8 crazy nights is just great!
Honestly, over the years Shooter McGavin has become one of my all time fav antagonists. Christopher Macdonald played him to perfection and he almost steals this movie
Saddlers best comedy movie is the wedding singer ,happy Gilmore is his 2nd best comedy
Shooter was great, the actor originally didn’t want to do that role, also the orderly is Ben stiller known for his roles in dodgeball, tropic thunder, and Zoolander
Ben stiller plays this person in three movies. Happy gilmore heavy weights and dodgeball
"I recognize this actor"....bruh Ben Stiller? Cmon!
This movie was filmed even closer to you (I think) than Portland, it was filmed in beautiful Vancouver B.C.
This movie is peak Adam Sandler with a good story and jokes.
This Film Made Me Laugh
hell yesssss one of my favorite movies
Favorite comedy of all time. Me & my friends play cards & watch this once a month
Wow it's nuts to me that people don't know who Ben Stiller is lol
"Maybe he needs to go be a singer"
Check out the Wedding Singer :)
Is that Abraham Lincoln?! 😂😂
That mini golf course was fake. That scene took place at a theme park called Playland in Vancouver. I was there the night they filmed this.
It was technically late 80’s, but another sports comedy classic you might like watching is “Major League”. Give it a watch if you haven’t seen it.
Probably my fave Adam Sandler movie. Love it!
One of my favorite movies haha! Now you gotta deep dive into the Sandlerverse lol
Just watch every Adam Sandler movie. He got fired from Saturday night live and became the biggest comedy actor of all time. Even his “eh” movies are still entertaining.
I just remember you saying you know this actor. hahahaha Its Ben Stiller man!!! lmfao!! 14:00
