My favorite feature of the mod work done here is the ability to set it up to where it has the stock sound. Very cool.
Jason is one of the worlds best Marshall Whisperers no contest! He did an amazing job on my Superbass Baxendall conversion ( see Jason's YT channel ) and your amp is another fine example of what he can do! Monster tones and result Leon! Love The Shenker tones and riffs !!

Sounds great, I've got a 2204 that I bought back around '97 that was modded with an extra tube gain stage on a push/pull knob and it's just a really great Marshall sound. Loud as hell though.
Sounds excellent, brother. I own a 77 2204 that I have a hot mod evo 2 in the pre. The extra gain stages work differently in older amp designs vs the new amps with extra gain stages.

Mick is one of my fave guitarists, lucky to have seen him on stage 3 times. He always had his own tones.👍

I kind of love that the master volume is labeled REVERB, since now it controls the amount of natural reverb caused by the sound bouncing off the walls. 😄🤘

yep that sounds like a marshall but does not open like a 800 when louder, kinda fizzled out. thats mick mars sound marshall.
you need to kick yngwie ass when ur opening for him. play loud and fast and twirl that guitar like a black college band majorette. you dont get that many opportunity like that in a life time.

@Leon Todd It would interesting if you can run through a chorus pedal like the Boss DC-2w Dimension C into the Marshall with some reverb from your Eventide H3000 rack unit as well.

The best tones were with the 335. I'm kind of shocked you didn't break out the Les Paul for this one.
The 335 is scratching the Gibson itch in a big way at the moment. So happy to have it back

Not a fan of the way it looks. Headfirst should've used a concentric pot where the new master pot is so you still have manual control to jump those channels and still have all the new functionality of the new controls without changing the layout of the amp in the front.
Sorry Leon but that mod sounds nothing like the Mick Mars Jose Modded amp. You might want to get your money back.

I'm into it. The vid Jason did with it when he finished the mods sounds a lot thicker and meatier than what I pulled here.
It crunches so bad I almost spread margarine on it and had a taste. That's what we call näkkileipä or knäckebröd. Dry rye bread I suppose if there's any equivalent in English.
