Looks like an east coast or snow country car... I had to use a MAP blowtorch to get mine off. The blowtorch costs about $60 dollars at lowest. It takes 3 minutes per each both. Don't mess with the dremel, and other stuff. And when you're done the blowtorch is an awesome charcoal starter :)
Cut along one side the nut then using chisel hammer on the cut will make the nut crack and to remove it by vise grip . If have air tool, using air chisel doing the same .
Presoak with PB blaster a day or two in advance and use a wire brush to clean the threads a bit. You need to put the vice grips between the mount and the back ball joint. Then an impact wrench if you have it, otherwise closed end wrench. If you have a propane torch you could also heat the nut (after soaking) for a minute or two. That will help with breaking the lock and also for spinning it off. If you're going to use a cutting wheel because lessening the bolt binds up, you need to cut the bolt right behind the nut
You are the definition of "Tenacity".
Hahaha tenacity/insanity... Close enough! 😂
Heat is your friend
💯! Heat does wonders, I so agree. Have propane torch, out of propane… 😁

Good idea. 👍 We definitely get a lot of snow here. I have a blowtorch and will try it next time first!

Thanks for the tip!
after replacing it, is alignment needed ?
No. It does not impact alignment.

Thanks for sharing those tips, @robertzanatta5219 !
Clamp the vise grip on the back where the rubber booth are and use a 1/2 impact gun to remove the nut.
Great suggestion thx! I used that method on the other side. 😁👍
