- In this aircheck from KMBZ on 1/12/2023 at 1:05 PM, we hear "Midday with Jayme and Grayson" not only completely misunderstand @RedLetterMedia and their video on graded tapes using Nukie, but they as well fail to read the entire article from Insider, which describes how the money is going to charity among many other things.
The entire segment is really mindboggling with inaccuracies, and there's been no on-air mention of the tape or RLM ever since. Maybe a correction is in order for such a terrible mischaracterization?

I thought RLM just destroyed the ones their fans sent, there is definitely alot more Nukie VHS out there unfortunately

They are missing the point that RLM had a pre existing humorous relationship with this film. They had been sent almost all of those copies of Nukie as a joke by their fans who found them out in the wild. So it wasn't just a random event by people looking to exploit it, plus as others have mentioned... They did donate.

Hi! Noticed your UA-cam video posts of old news interviews. That you have the November 5, 1992 Primetime Live interview of Magic Johnson. Do you have any recording of that same episode, with the infamous Food Lion investigation hosted by Diane Sawyer?
Also, the video on UA-cam is literally them(RLM) addressing the ridiculousness of VHS grading and mocking the people who legitimately do this for profit.
I haven't watched the whole video, but 8 minutes in they haven't figured out that the money is going to charity.

They never said it was the last copy, they didn’t admit to destroying the tapes, they destroyed the tapes on camera, and it was all for charity and entertainment.
If you were going to talk about a youtube video on your public forum you should atleast watch the whole thing. I feel like this came to them in an article on thier yahoo home page in short winded bold letters. It was for charity and alot of the RLM video talks about the grading/speculative market being scammy. time for nice girls don't explode to go the the wheel of the worst.
