If the fusible white backing is made from paper then this is OK and can be called eco friendly, but if they are using plastic backing to fuse the leaves, then this is not eco-friendly. For that matter using paper also can't be eco-friendly because paper is made from trees...wondering exactly what that backing is made of, hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks

I think the leaves themselves are not rigid enough, that's why they use (i belive) Banana stem paper.
