  • This is my review of the Cumulus no 3 Home Steamer from Steamery. This is NOT sponsored by Steamery or any other company - it’s just my honest opinion based on my own experiences with this product and the other products mentioned in the video! I demonstrate the steamer and I list pros and cons - what I like and what I don’t like about the product and in the end, I sum up my experience. I also compare it to the Cirrus no 3 Iron Steamer from Steamery, which is a handheld steamer. I hope you like it and find it useful 😊

Is it possible to lock the hanger so it doesn't spin? How do you detach the brush from the wand?

Looks great! Thanks for this video! Does it contract down so that it can be stored on a shelf by chance, or do you know how low it is at its smallest height? Thank you!

Thanks! Unfortunately not, you can only disassemble it to make it smaller. But it doesn’t take long to put it back together so that could be a way of fitting it into a smaller space 😄

May I ask where the white with blue embroidery dress in the cut aways is from? :)

Yes! It’s from a Korean brand. You can find it here: m.jejeunosity.co.kr/product/detail.html?product_no=81&cate_no=60&display_group=1

I had the Cirrus 2, but it stopped emitting steam, which seems to be a common issue. The troubleshooting tips didn't work. I'd only used the recommended water so there shouldn't have been mineral build-up. Besides the fact that it was expensive for something that stopped working after like 15 uses, I found the handle far too large to grip comfortably. You can tell it was designed by a man for a man's hands. Besides that, the "glove" that came with it is a rectangle - no thumbs or fingers, just a rectangle. You can't hold anything with it, so you end up not using it and risking burning yourself. The light would come on every 10 seconds or so, and you'd have to stop and wait for it to turn green again. I usually ran out of water before I finished even one cotton shirt. You also had to hold it upright to use it, so you couldn't steam something horizontally, which meant you had to have something to hang the garment from.
I wanted to try the full-size steamer so I can actually steam more than one thing, but I'm afraid that it would stop working, and it's even more expensive than the handheld steamer.

Oh that’s unfortunate! And yes the small steamers run out of water very quickly. So far I’ve had no problems with the Cumulus steamer and it emits a looot more steam than the handheld ones, which makes it so much easier and faster to use! I’m very happy with mine. I only use the small one (cirrus no 3) for bedding, drapes and sometimes I bring it when I travel
I hope you find a solution. I can really recommend getting a bigger steamer!
