Having an eternal 5 yr old I so understand tantrums, my stepson is 5 foot 10, is 33 yrs old, but he is autistic with learning disabilities, his mental age is of a 5 yr old, he is mostly non verbal, so it makes it hard to figure out what his tantrums are about at times, rarely he can become violent so I have to keep vigil as 2 weeks ago he almost hit me because he was angry not being able to do something, seeing he cannot verbalize his feelings he will have tantrums. He may never age mentally, I call him my eternal child stuck in the body of an adult. It will be 9 yrs next month we are together his dad and I. He is mostly in his own world most of the time, intereactions do not happen often. We his dad and I are aging, he will be 60 in April and me 59 in March, our health is not what it used be either, I had to retire age 55 due to health issues, so I am now a retired nurse and stay at home stepmom. We will keep him living with us for as long as we can, but I sometimes worry what wil happen to him when we are no longer there for him. His dad shaves him, cuts his nails, cuts his hair, supervises him while he showers as 5 yr old are not too much into hygiene. We make his meals as he cannot do so for himself. People do not realize these special needs people they do grow up and once out of school there is no option for them nor the parents. So even if I never had children myself, I know the struggles of a parent, mine just happens to be an adult child. Rania will eventually get out of this phase and you guys are great parents to her.
Moe, The latest cruise ship that just did her maiden voyage the other day is called, Icon of the Seas. I was watching a video of it online and it is huge.
