6-5-23 Illinois neighbor, Hi Kayla.........First I like when you "time stamp" your videos. Second You now busy running machines, farming in "high gear" things get into a "rush". I just ask you two guys THINK SAFETY at all times, as you know farming is a dangerous business !!! You look great and healthy Bye 👍👍
Kayla, good to see the 2023 hay season in progress. I don't know if you are short on moisture but most of the hr Midwest is quite dry, but as the saying goes make hay while the sun shines. Happy Haying.
I love the way you and Jason work together I used to have to pick up bale's in the field by hand load on wagon and unload in the barn work on my Grandpa farm back in 1970. Things have changed for the better awesome video
I love that you promote FFA and 4H! Both great programs, and they show opportunities are limitless. I have daughters, and they have all benefited from both. But red equipment? Oh jeez.😮😂😂
It is great to see the hay season start. I hope and pray you catch some showers to keep it going through the summer. Terribly dry in southern Illinois.
Good look with the hay, here in the UK it is a bit early, i've only got 9 acres to do which i round bale so will make a start in a few weeks, weather permitting
Was the first cut yield good? You mentioned ripping the field. What type of implement will you use? Any prayer requests. In college during the summer I worked for the city of Moscow. I worked in Park first year. The manager was 6-4, 275+ pounds and was mean and he intensely disliked me. One day he shouted at me why did God cause it to rain on my cut hayfield. I answered in the bible it is written: God causes the rain to fall on rightest man field and the wicked mans field. He never asked me another question. it was by Gods grace I survived that summer in 1972. There are always difficult problems and people. God is always with you and will never forsake you. His grace is sufficient. May God cause his face to shine on you bless you and your family. I Look forward to more video from the buddy seat, Thank you for doing these videos. I turned 70 last month and my wife and I celebrated our 45 anniversary.
Eh we’ve talked about it - but it’s not something Jason thinks is really necessary…. We’re pretty excited about the whole rake Situation - it’ll be coming out in this weeks vlogs.
@@ChroniclesofKayla how long do batteries hold charge before needing charge, and what model radio do you have?I'm looking for a radio to use in our home, because my wife is handicapped, with a two way l could communicate without being in the same room, or if I have to be outside etc. You have a nice posting with good material. Sure wish I had your haying equipment when I was farming.(60s and 70s). Ron from west central Mn
For us - all day and then some (especially if they’re turned off when we’re NOT using them) they charge super fast! We have 2 different models - I’ll run up and look at them. Our older set we’ve had for several years - and we keep them on a doc station at the house. Even on charge if on you can use them!! It’s handy with Jae -
Is the red rope that he uses on the bale grappler something new? I watched you part of last year then stopped, watching too many channels. Now I am back and noticed the rope when he grappled his first load.

In 1997 my father bought a new Massey 190 LB. But he sold it in 2000 because there were too many balers in our area
Keyla I pray that you have a good time ahead.
I love your videos. When I was younger I ran Hesston 4700 and Hesston 4800 balers
We love our Massey that’s for sure. We’ve ran AgCo/Massey now since 2012(?)

Wow! Thank you Mr. J Joe Carlson!
Heard the governor of Missouri made your state a drought area for the lack of rIn. That is not good for your second cutting this summer.
👍
Put them quality hay as you are. Probably merger would be your next Purchase. Become sold on them.

How Much them big square bales weigh? full size roll around 1200 to 1500 lbs !
my bad I thought that was the big square. Ours around 50 lbs New Holand 310 will surge tractor :)
What brand of radios did you buy, and how long do the batteries hold a charge?
We have the Midland radios!!! Super awesome for us.

So the tie grabber runs a 36’ string around the bales (of 15) to help hold them together… I’ll do a VIDEO. It’ll explain more!!
@Chronicles of Kayla Wieczorek I figured that was what it was for, just didn't remember seeing it last year.
Bonjour
