How to Safely Kill Guards in Cayo Perico Compound for SOLO GOLD Glitch (Ledge Grab/Snapmatic)

This is an in-depth GTA Online video guide that will teach you how to kill El Rubio's guards inside & outside the Cayo Perico island's compound when trying to open the Secondary loot storage rooms using the Ledge Grab/Snapmatic Solo Gold Glitch. I will be showing you which guards are safe to kill and where are the safe spots/locations to kill them. Since last year, the guards on the island have been buffed. They are now alerted and raise the alarm on spotting dead bodies in their cone of vision. Same goes for the security cameras. Also, the Juggernaut is no longer a pushover and requires a lot of firepower to kill. In this route, you will see how you can efficiently knock out all necessary patrolling guards including the Juggernaut who patrols a large part of the compound and El Rubio's personal bodyguards (who have a red cone of vision) in complete stealth and be able to do the glitch without worrying about guards nearby. The tutorial will also account for the new shift of guards that arrives on grabbing the Primary Target from the underground vault. This new batch of guards can spot dead bodies while spawning in, so we need to make sure that the previous guards are not killed in spots where the new guards arrive. All 4 storage rooms: North Storage, South Storage, West Storage and Basement Storage are considered in this. This video has been recorded after the latest Chop Shop DLC (Online version 1.68) added in December 2023 to GTA Online and should continue to work in 2024 and beyond unless the guard behavior/positions get changed again in future. The Cayo Perico Heist to this day, is still a solid way to make money for solo players even with the nerfs to cooldown period and loot value along with the changes to enemy AI over the years.

A tip to get rid of the Juggernaut more easily: Get close to him and melee him with a throwable equipped. This knocks him out for some time, enough for you to equip an high DPS gun to finish him off by shooting his buttcheeks without alerting the other guards.
Also if you gun bash the guards it doesn’t make a sound to alert others nearby
The Sechs way. That works too, but since this guide is for all levels of players, that might be tricky for beginners to do. Anyways they can try this as well.

When this heist first came out in 2020 I remember it was glitched where guards couldn’t spot bodies and the juggernaut was a 1 shot to the head but now this heist has gotten a lot more harder now :(
Yeah, it was a breeze back then. I even did a lot of pacifist elite runs earlier along with the one run where I killed every guard on the island in stealth 😂. Think the video is still up on the channel.

You know what's worse? The harder it gets and the less money we get....
Yeah it's definitely not as good for solo players now. But it's still viable to do when combined with other Freemode businesses during the 3 hour cooldown period. It takes about 40-45 minutes for a full run.

They won't ban for stuff like that, they don't even monitor stuff like that. Worst case, they will patch the glitch.
@Rohit997 Don't know, I mean, it's known that when you abuse the use of a glitch, you might be banned. It happens with the reset glitch in the final mission of the Diamond casino heist.
I think if we do this glitch a few times a day, we are safe. If someone does this heist A LOT of times with the solo gold glitch, it could be the risk. But fck it, it got nerfed so bad I'm trying everytime anyways 😂
There were different solo gold glitches earlier too when the heist came out in 2020. Those glitches are patched, but nobody got banned for doing them. They simply don't/can't monitor such things in a game where most of the stuff is done on the client side without a monitored server. But yeah they nerfed it quite a bit. I was actually satisfied with the solo payouts earlier via other spots like Main Dock on the island. Didn't even bother much with gold glitches until now.

Bro i have a issue! I do the reply glitch succesfully, i get money and keep heist 1st tym then which i do the heist 2ndtym i dont get money but keep heist and same 3rd time and so on, i only get money 1 heist per hour and rest are unpaid heists! any Sols ? am i doing something wrong? Helps guys

I really hate this discovering bodies thing when you have no mechanism to move them out of the way.
If anything they should disable it when you dose the water supply.
I really went an invested in the kotatsa just to gain access to the heist and then came to realize I’m too dumb to actually play it through😐

Nope, not all cameras need to be taken out. They are only a problem if you kill guards when in their vision.
Very interesting, but I don't glitch. And on my PC I got alerted after getting the primary target without killing any guards. Several restarts untill I just quit. So what happend then? Bugs?
Probably a bug if you are getting detected after getting the primary even without killing anyone.
@@Rohit997 Or it was with only killing the 2 in the outer edge next to that small pool, just for the keycard. You killed them here and say it's safe so then I assume it should be good.

Except for one of the routes of the basement storage and North Storage, you can't do the glitch without killing some guards. It's risky and you will likely get caught.

the juggernaut is glitched for me no matter how many shotgun shots i do to him he still is alive and alerts the guards
Which shotgun are you using? One of the loadouts has a pump shotgun too which is slow.
Make sure to choose aggressive loadout

I like my Heists without bothering with those long optional preps. Still remember how easy the juggernaut was to kill earlier. You could just whack him in the head with melee 😂
How do you perform a melee attack while wilding a pistol
Get close to the enemy and press R on PC, Circle on PlayStation controller, B on Xbox controller.

if the jeep sees the body it does not matter, you can get elite if you alert guards out of the compound and before any reinforcement can reach you you are long gone
Yeah, but this video is meant for all kinds of players including beginners who may not be that fast. They might not be able to escape quickly and the reinforcements could shoot them enough to kill them or reduce their Take from the Heist. So it's best for them to take out the guard in the jeep.

@@_Giorgio_ Yeah it is. Even I don't kill the jeep guy except whenever I need to head for Main dock. It's just that for videos, I have to show the most foolproof way possible for any player who watches it.

you can just melee the first guard and juggernaut will not hear it no matter what the distance is
Good tip. But you still have to wait for the Juggernaut to pass the camera before killing him (or wait for the Juggernaut to move away if you are shooting the camera).
Will the juggernaut see the dead bodys that you killed on 3:04?
If I remember correctly, the juggernaut won't see the bodies of those 2 guards by the pool. He doesn't turn towards them and continues walking straight.

Doing solo, no need to kill, just go around.
Why bother with the extra guards outside the compound?
Because if you are not quick enough to escape the island, or want to loot elsewhere like the Main Dock, the bodies will be found and you will have to deal with infinite guards. There's no way to grab that bike without killing the nearby guard and remain undetected.
Theses videos are good but you dont have to do all of this and u will get more money. Maybe woth ore players this woud make more sense.
I make about 1.8m each time
I enter through the valuim and collect my gear and one set of loot in the hanger.
I then run across the strip and loot bars and abit of the cash to full my bag.
I then shoot a patrol boat driver and take his boat and head for the draining tunnel. I then get into the compound and go on the roof.
I dont kill any gaurds in the compound.
I take the prinary loot and then run out the main gate. Steal a bike and then ramp it straight into the ocea and the mission ends.
Im still working out other ways to do it also
What's the point of doing these glitches and killing guards but then get 1.5m? Seems like a overkill to me. Not required. Unless u walking away with loot over 2.2m
You don't have to kill every guard shown in video. You only need to kill the ones that are in the way of the storage rooms you want to loot from. Not every room will have gold inside on an actual heist. This is simply a guide that shows you which guards you can safely kill and at what spots.

This this guide is great but I see one problem with this method. after he gets the main target new guards will spawn in. That will cause the alarm If he kills the guards before getting the main target. Especially now that rockstar has made that guards can now detect dead bodies.

That's literally the main point of this video. The guards I have killed won't be spotted by the new guards if you kill them in the same spots as me. I know very well the guards can spot dead bodies and the fact that new guards spawn after getting the primary target. Maybe watch the video again lol.
No, this is probably the worst way I've ever seen
It's not a 'way' to do the Heist. It's a video that shows you which guards you can kill safely and where, to have a near empty compound for doing the solo glitch in all rooms. It should be obvious that on an actual heist run, you will only have a few rooms with secondary targets, rather than all 4. So you don't need to kill all the guards shown. Now think about your comment for a moment, but slowly :)
