- In 2020, Reece Wilson won the DH World Championships in Leogang, Austria, in the same venue where the 2021 season is about to start. Reece’s journey to the top of downhill mountain biking began in Tweed Valley, Scotland, where he first learned to ride a bike and developed a hardworking mentality through a family business. In ‘Hometown Hero,’ Reece shows where he spent his most formative years, and how he’s giving back to the community that gave him the drive to don a rainbow jersey.

Said before and I'll say it again watching Leogang last year was an absolute trip. Can't even fathom how it must have been for Reece in the hot seat for so long.
Ps: the white kit and white bike is such a flex especially in Scotland !

Unfortunately, to me, most of the Trek videos are nothing more than feel good, promotional videos. Very little useful information at best.

@@trekbikes How about reaching out to “Hard Feelings” and his LBS and make it happen? Aside: I’ve had nothing but great experiences from my LBS - a corporate Trek store. The mechanics and tech support (wheel builders etc) have far exceeded “the call of duty” by responding to my needs rapidly. Maybe I’ve just been lucky and hit them up when they weren’t crushed with work. I doubt it though.
