I'm 54 and returning to roller skating after a long time. Your videos are very clear and helpful examples of techniques I know little about. This video was a nice reminder that part of the fun of skating is the setting. Love your videos!
I love to hear that you are getting back into skating. I hope you have a wonderful journey that lasts for a long time. Thanks for being part of my channel!!
Thank you Julia, this was great to see, what an amazing place. I enjoyed the basic ice dance video you made with Jane and wondering if you will continue, maybe even another video with Jane, with some additional basic Dance moves, such as backward progressives and chasses, Canasta Tango, Baby Blues, change of edges in the dance pattern, crossrolls, etc. Love your videos! :)
WOW!!!! k, one more place added to my places to visit list😁 Thank you coach Julia for providing such high quality unique videos, you've got an appreciative fan base!
YEP! Everyday is a postcard at Lake Tahoe. I cannot 🤔 think of a more beautiful place to be. I wish, I was sipping a vanilla latte on the lakeshore, watching the sunset.
Love this video! Off topic, but could you tell me your opinion on Edea skates? Specifically Motivo or Overture. I'm planning to buy new skates because I started learning my single jumps but the skates that I own now don't have enough support. I watched your video on choosing skates and you recommend Jackson Elle, but they are very expensive. The Edea ones are for the same level but a lot cheaper. Have you had any experience with them? Are they any good? Thanks in advance❤
Choosing skates is about their stiffness and your comfort, it doesn’t matter if it’s Risport, Edea or Jackson. Motivo is to soft for jumps for an adult and will brake fast. Overture should be ok, if they feel comfortable for you and you body weight is no more than 60kg.
hi I'm just wondering if you could post a video of how to do an axel because I'm learning some new tricks and axel is on my bucket list I would love it if you made a video of a toturial of an axel
I don't know when you got the chance to go up there and film this, but you posted this on literally the last day this rink is open. They only have one session available, and that's between 6pm and 9pm.
I know, it's unfortunate that I was not able to get out there earlier in the season. I only discovered that it existed about a month ago and I got out there as soon as I could. Just put it on the list of places to skate next fall! 🙂
I always enjoy the wide range of skating styles. If you do too, check out another youtube master BFunkPhenomenon. He is in Europe and has super roller skating technique for rhythm. Might remind you of your roots.
This is so beautiful! This is on my dream list of places to skate. Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome! Hopefully you can visit one day!

@@martapietkiewicz6612 Thank you! I'm actually below 50, so this shouldn't be a problem😊
I am glad Marta could help answer this for you!

The axel is certainly a challenge, and worthy of being on your bucket list. I will see what I can do for a video for you.
@@CoachJulia thank you
