First of all if child sitting up perhaps lie them down. How would you like trying to go while sitting on hard surface. To relieve gas lie child on his back and fold knee up. Do you ever grunt/groan while having bowel movement…do you want people laughing. As a nurse I am happy child having BM as indicates body do what is suppose to be doing.
