as one who had played the original, I can say 2 things, the fanmade is very very close to the original, the only thing it doesn’t have is the button that you have to click over and over once you are stuck into the substance. The original was very well made and fun, sad to see it be taken down. The fanmade game is basically just the original, so go have fun :)

Fun Fact: you actually don’t sink all the way into quick sand. Your body sinks until the density of the quicksand around your body matches the density of you. So only if you’re really dense you would submerges your body. It’s basically impossible to die to quicksand.

you should play the game called 'glass'. its a like an arcade shooter game, it looks polished and its very fun but basic with basic controls and a lot of levels. not a lot of people play this but its really cool.

The issue with the remakes is that they are missing a bunch of features that the original had like jumping out of quick sand
