I agree with you. I do not trust the process because they are only humans and they make mistakes too. I am having an issue with Poshmark now because they told me the bag I just bought for $1100 does NOT need to be authenticated. This just happened. I still didn't "accept" the order. They said because the seller has a good track record it does not need to be authenticated. That is NOT acceptable to me. I'm a seller on Poshmark and I just sold a bag that was authenticated. It's not the sellers fault but I told Poshmark they better authenticate before releasing the money to the seller. I also do not trust authentication unless it's in person. The authenticators need to feel the bag, hold it, see it up close, but that's my opinion. The listing said Free Authentication anything over $500 so that is false advertising. They have not responded to 5 emails so anyone thinking now of making a $500 or more purchase...find out first if it's getting authenticated. Great video!!

@@BettyeNicole Just an update... they released the money to my seller BUT they asked me for several different photos of different sections of the bag so I sent them and they sent me an email confirming that the bag is authentic. They said their "in House Loewe Expert" reviewed the photos and guaranteed its authenticity. Honestly that's a crock of....but I accepted it because the bag was brand new with tags attached and the seller sent me a copy of the receipt. I just wanted something is writing from Poshmark and I got that. Basically just buyer beware!

I would encourage you to take as many pictures as possible before shipping your bags for authentication. Before accepting an order, if something doesn't feel right, don't do it. Other than that, the process should be smooth. I may test the process out myself as a seller 🤎
Hi there - thanks for this! When you had your gucci authenticated by Real Authentication, was that enough for you to know it was real or not? Just wondering how valid that is since they don't actually see the bag. Asking, as I am looking into doing it as well before making my purchase for peace of mind (seems reliable!) but not sure given they are just looking at the pics from the Poshmark post (I don't have the purse just yet). Hi, No problem! Thank you for watching. Honestly, the authentication process through the Real was not sufficient for me. Although the company claims to have experts, because there is no accurate verification of that, it's hard to believe they are accurate honestly. For me, moving forward, I would prefer to purchase from someone that I know is integral. I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying from Poshmark, but I would suggest that one do their research first. In the end, I paid for two Authentications, and the peace I sought only came when I let go of all the what-ifs and accepted that I couldn't change things anyway. Prayerfully that makes sense. Lol, I
I got this same bag from the Gucci store and it looks exactly the same! I’m currently struggling with getting a Gucci vintage bag from Poshmark as well and paranoid. Do u know if the price can be exactly $500 to get it authenticated or does it have to be over $500 like $501 cause they be playing sometimes. 😆
Hello, yes, any purchase of 500 or more goes through their authentication process. On the listing, it should state “will go to Poshmark first” or something like that lol. Did they send that in a Tory Burch dust bag?:o I got an LV and am going to have mine authenticated again once it arrives also. The seller seems good but I’m with you; you do never know, and those at PM are still human.
I have the same bag but a different color and mine is fake. It has all the same tags as yours. The only way to know if yours is real is to have it compared to the fake one. If theres no reference point you may never know. If you would like to compare it to minds to make sure yours is real I dont have a problem helping you do that...

I agree; this purchase was a one-time deal! I've since deleted the Poshmark app and have sought other ways to save money lol
