Another weekend come and gone, I'm so happy I got this video together before Monday! I'm watching Rupaul's Drag Race, UK vs the World Season 2 getting this video together. I am living for Marina Summers, my Filipina Goddess!! As always, these Happy Planner release videos are always so much work because I like adding the images of all the planners that I'm referencing into the video. I feel like it really adds that extra touch but it does take me so long to edit, so I hope you enjoy!!

🌼 Off the silver screen, Daniela is a biologist interested in the ecology, behavior, and evolution of social insect societies, mainly honey bees and wood ants. She completed her doctorate (PhD) in honey bee genomics and behavior at the University of California, San Diego in 2022.
🌼 Currently, she is completing a UC Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Riverside with Dr. Jessica Purcell's research group, studying supergene evolution in a native wood ant.
🌼 Daniela strongly believes in the importance and value of science communication and education and strives to make science both accessible and enjoyable for a wide audience. Her science communication style is broadly influenced by theater, dance, spoken word, comedy, and telenovelas.
🌼 She is also currently working on developing STEAM educational programming for the incarcerated communities of southern California as part of a larger prison-industrial complex abolition project. She is interested in developing courses that use zines as learning tools to promote interactive engagement with scientific topics.
🌼 When she’s not analyzing DNA sequences, you can find her papercrafting, gardening, foraging for wild mushrooms, hiking in Death Valley, or looking for horned lizards in San Diego's beautiful chaparral and desert regions.

I don’t use the HP so I didn’t get anything lol but love to see what other ppl get! I enjoyed hearing you talk about the HP release; I don’t think we get videos like this anymore.
I’m a bit done with florals and the farm house / homebody just because those are all starting to look too similar to old planners!

Aww thanks so much for supporting my video! I always like seeing what people choose for their planner lineup even if they don't use Happy Planner so I totally get it! Yess I completely agree about the florals and farmhouse, I'm no longer super intrigued but I suppose for people picking up Happy Planner for the first time, it will be new to them.

Camp nostalgia as a fitness/hiking planner was a genious idea! Omg. But I already ordered another big for my fitness. Oh nooo I'm having regrets! 😂

I got the breathe live explore one. But we'll see if I switch later if camp nostalgia is on sale. 🫢😁 I love hiking and nature too and im also a national park collector here in Finland 😊

The horizontal layout is my favorite. I purchased the hello today, Happy planner from Office Depot and I got the vivid bloom from 🎯. The frosted cover is gorgeous. I do not like the vertical layout, but I love the vivid bloom cover so much. I’m sorry your planners got moist.
The Horizontal Layout is so nice, I really want to get into using it but just haven't figured out how it would work for me. I could see it working for a journaling planner. Those are some good picks, the Vivid Bloom is definitely gorgeous and the frosted covers definitely are nice. 🩷 Thanks for supporting my channel 🩷

I nearly always go for the Stargazer options but I wasn't feeling this particular collection. I'll wait and see what they have for the fall release.
Me too!! I always am drawn to their cosmic / stargazer collections. I really liked their Cosmic Watercolor collection I think it was called from last year, that's probably been my favorite they've put out and I wish they would make them more nebula-style colors instead of beige/black/neutrals. 🩷 Thanks for supporting my channel 🩷
Stargazer is my only desire of this whole release and the fabulous checkered folio zip. Btw, you look amazing! Love your lip color!
Oooh yeah the checkered zipfolio is kind of calling my name. I see myself putting patches on it! I might have to pick it up ahaha And aww thank you so much, I actually have really been getting into doing a ombre lip with outlining my lips in a darker color and then filling it in with the main color. I never got into the habit of using lip liner but I think it's worth the extra step!! Hope you have been well my friend! 🩷
@@laplanningdiva I caved and bought the opal mountain as well as the stargazer. Picked up just two sticker books. One for me and one for my daughter. That zip folio would look amazing with patches on it! I like that idea!

I also got the Big playful Pups, Im going to use it as my flagship in July. I loved that it was a lined vertical. I actually have cats but the playful pups was so much cuter than the whimsical whiskers in this case. I got the ice cream classic monthly and the folk and feather colorblock for my pen only planner.
Yeah it definitely was super cute! At first I thought I liked the Whimsical Whiskers one better because it had a pink background but revisiting it, I like the Playful Pups better…the designs pop more on the cream background and also the pink glitter discs are so pretty 😍 I am intrigued that this is a lined vertical planner! I’ve never used one significantly…I think I’m gonna use this one for my Work planner come July. What is your pen only planner for ? I’m curious 👀! I’ve been doing a lot of pen only in my planners lately since I’ve been so busy 🥺
@laplanningdiva my work/on the go. My husband and I share a pretty small place so if I want to decorate/play I have to pull out the craft table and do a whole setup, so I do a lot of planning at work, I go in 30 minutes early, have some caffeine and plan my day. I got tired of trying to take stickers back and forth though, and I couldn't change my mind because I could only take a few stickerbooks because I often walk home from work...so it's going to be my daily/work/on the go. I will still do decorative planning in my journals, but I'll set aside special time for it on Sundays.
My guess is that you got the snow white stuff and the ones with the poppies because you’re a scientist and if I remember correctly, you research plants. You have also mentioned liking Disney.

hahaha that's so interesting that you would pick those for me!! Good try though! I did think the Snow White stuff was cute but I wasn't completely in love with it. Maybe one day I'll pick up the sticker book but the Poppy Piping stuff didn't call to me at all. And I don't study plants at all, I study honey bees and ants! 🩷 Thanks for supporting my channel 🩷
