it'a beautiful videa and amazing places. any raccomandations on where to go in Evia? it's a huge island and in 2 weeks we won't have the chance to see all the places.
Thanks a lot Marcello! You can start with the north part of the island for your first visit. A good choice is to stay at Limni village to the Northwest and from there to make excursions to the northern beaches of the island. On the next trip visit the central eastern side and on the third the southern part.

One thing in this presentation is not fair. After about one hour of checking positions of those beaches on the map, it turned out that all of the most beautiful beaches here - are "in the middle of nowhere", i.e. far from any accommodation, supermarket, etc. It's partly logical, but only partly, and luckily, since there ARE many wild and wonderful beaches in Greece with accomodation and some supermarkets nearby, from Corfu, Lefkada, Kefalonia, to Crete and Karpathos.
This is the rule for almost all islands. For example, there is no accommodation in Porto Katsiki of Lefkada, in Myrtos of Kefalonia or in Balos of Crete. There is a special law that prohibits it in order to keep these areas unspoiled.
@@ILIOPOULOStravel It's true about Porto Katsiki, but not about Egremni or Megali Petra on the same island (Lefkada) or in case of Myrtos (there are accomodations for rent VERY NEAR) in Kefalonia. Even a drive from Argostoli, by car (or even by public transport) is reasonably easy task, unlike to those beaches in Evia. It's mainly due to certain island's SIZE. And since I'm not native in Greece but a foreign tourist, and don't come by car but by plane, those facts (distance to possible accomodation, etc) are very important to me in order that the holiday doesn't become a too big stress or (/and) burns too much money (on rent a car, etc). Therefore, Evia right now is not for me, at least those beaches (and I don't want to go to those mediocre beautiful), if I made my research right.
@vickvickson4273 the whole point about Evia is that it is untouristy and unspoilt. So you go where you like and we will stick with this little known beautiful island.
@@melissaalexander176 "so you go where you like" witnesses about your problematic attitude and since it's free world I will of course go where I like, which would even include Evia if there wasn't that mentioned disadvantage.

Thanks Danny! It's Agios Dimitrios at South East and the sunrise of Kalamos at central East. You have to spend a lot of days to visit all these beaches since Evia is huge island. Great video, maybe ask your wife to be behind camera instead at the front, that way is more spontaneous video insted here is where we went.

Its the same Beach it looks like.
The first is Tsilaros and the second after a small distance is Thapsa beach.
