"are they kind of a screamo band?" well.... they are kind of.... a band. :P Seriously, they incorporate styles so widely it's pretty much impossible to really pin them to one sub-genre. They are just AWESOME :) Nao (the lady singing/screaming/playing drums) is great and a powerhouse, Ryu (Nao's brother who plays guitar and sings/screams) is just as much of a freak, Daisuke (screams/growls) is as crazy as it gets on vocals and bassist Uehara is just damn awesome as well. The music is crazy, the videos are mad works of art, the live shows are MASSIVE from what I saw on video (would love to really see them live one day), they have fun doing what they're doing and don't care what anyone else has to say (there are a few songs that are a funny middlefinger in the face of some people who gave them shit) and the lyrics, if you manage to find translations and get into them are actually pretty deep and meaningful :)

When I listen to MTH it makes me think of being on a train in the city and seeing all of the heavily graffitied walls go by. A whole mix of in your face styles that blend from one to the next.
