Well this section of the game is a drag if you haven't upgraded Kakashi. And even upgraded him efficiently is a bit more of a pain in the butt than I like since you need to make use of other characters like Naruto to power level him.

@@thesacredlobo I didn't play the 1st game, just watched the walkthrough long time ago. However nothing is comparable in my opinion to Chronicles 2, its my favorite ps2 game.
I've been slowly working my way through a new Let's Play for the first game and am currently at the final prisoner escort mission which is a pain in the butt to get through since it's pretty resource intensive. The best strategy in my experience is basically so spam Shikamaru's traps in order to make defeating the enemies quickly a lot easier, but secondary characters only get to stand in for Naruto in short bursts in the first game. So it can be a real drag if you don't have a lot of chakra recovery items. You can also try spamming weapons with Naruto I suppose, but if you hit the prisoner cart it will cause damage. And you want to avoid that as much as possible considering you fail the mission if it breaks. Admittedly you can advance the story regardless, but I prefer to have a perfect mission record when playing for an audience. Even if my audience is pretty tiny.
